I learned a lot by watching this video. These guys are true professionals. No matter how cheesy they had to be to do a gig, they sold their song. I think that's great. It takes guts to do what they did in this vid. It must've been hard, but they got it done. One of my favorite Toto songs. Gee,I think I just made a backhanded complement.
It was the same format when Kimball was in the band . After Hold the Line, and I'll Supply the love (their 1st & 2nd singles) the ballads sung by Lukather gave the band the "ballad tag" which was something Lukather and the band didn't want . The band was pissed Columbia records chose 99 as a single instead of WHITE SISTER. 7:35
I think that if this band continued reunied with this musicians, they had been the leaders in music. Jeff was a gret musician, he lasted a long time in studio sessions.
This one was really fun :) the japanese journalist always saying "hay" or "hey" to signify that she hears the other journalists who are in Japan (I guess?). And their "performance" at the end :p I wonder why they used playback as it is even more awesome when they play it live (the 1992-Paris version is breathtaking...). Whatever this happened 25 years ago and I wasn't even born but I can't help feeling nostalgic about Toto in the 80s and 90s
