I think the worst thing about Tom and Jerry is the fact that they aren’t even the main characters of their own movie. Chole Grace Moretz and all the other human characters are. And you wanna know something hilarious? The guys who wrote Sonic, a MUCH better hybrid movie, were actually approached by WB to try and crack a Tom and Jerry film. They specifically said that that the main thing people need to know when they walk into a Tom and Jerry is that “It’s about a cat and a mouse and they’re trying to kill each other, we can have human characters and give them things to do but they CANNOT be the protagonist. The movie already has two protagonists and their names are Tom and Jerry”. And, as soon as they said they said that, WB told them to “Get out”. Really makes you see how much they actually care about the characters and their legacy. There IS a way to make a Tom and Jerry movie work and have them as the leads, but whatever you come up with won’t matter if not even the studio believes that the characters can hold their own as the main stars.
The minds of the studio executives are so confusing. "People don't want to see a Tom & Jerry film where the cat and mouse beat each other up. They want to see Chloe Moretz and Michael Peña making wild shenanigans on the big screen!"
I can likely confirm that “Home Destroyed” was a scene cut out of the movie. Since this involves Tom and Jerry in this prologue of them slapstick fighting to a destroyed house. Them being kicked out what kickstarts the plot for the cat and mouse. The producer confirmed this was cut out because it slowed the movie down and audiences already know who they are. As much as I love this movie, it had issues with studio interference because most movies made by Warner Brothers are 101 minutes long.

A two-part TV special masquerading as a Disney + film = you KNOW (Disney) that you can just start the animated series from 'The Long Haul' onwards. Man, Tom & Jerry was my Childhood and it still holds a special place in my heart, but watching this movie was painful, and I mean painful. Every minute of this movie felt like an eternity.

I never even finished Coming 2 America. I never made it past the part where Eddie was allegedly raped by the child’s mother after Arsenio apparently gave him some roofies. I’m like wtf is this. I don’t even care if it came back and redeemed that scene.

That Cia movie definitely should be nr 1. It is not only a bad, ignorant, insulting and insensitive movie. It is a dangerous and irresponsible movie. It teaches techniques how to "help" autistic people that have a fit or panic attack that puts both people in possible mortal danger and portrays is as a very good thing. It was condemned by several health and organisations to help people on the spectrum. Yet behind the scenes Cia ignored all feedback, criticism and advice from everyone both before and after the movie came out. This was her vanity project. This is like that covid movie from last year where it is not only insulting and bad but dangerous.
She also ignored people who suggested actresses that actually were on the spectrum also that girl she cast I hear she has sleep overs with her am I the only one who finds that got damn wrong?

Cia has blocked the girls agents or talked her out of starring in roles in other projects were she wasn't involved to "protect" her from bad roles and influences ironically it seems like Cia herself might mess up her career the way this is going. The girl herself I bear no ill against, she seems like good person and having someone as imposing and big as Cia to willingly be your mentor in an uncertain business at such a young age would make any young person put way more trust than they in someone like Cia. She actually wanted to quit the role because she felt bad about the betrayal of autism and didn't want people to feel that she was making fun of them in her portrayal. Naturally Cia talked her out of it and encouraged her to go on. I think people barely accept their relationship because they are both the same gender. But if one of them was the opposite sex then alarm bells would be going off like if a fire station was on fire. The whole things feels like an animated movie where Cia eventually has her parents (especially her mom) killed so she is the lone protector of her.
As an aspiring actor with Cerebral Palsy, starring in a family movie like Toy Story, Tom and Jerry, and Space Jam 2: A New Legacy has always been a goal of mine to achieve.

@nemo pouncey Did we though? Carnage has the audience engagement he has for so long, for a reason. Carnage in the movie didn’t feel any different than any other average symbiote, and he has probably one of the most distinctive personalities of any Spider-Man villain. They lost me completely when Brock says “they’re not compatible”. Cletus and Carnage are extremely compatible, more so than Eddie and Venom, they adore each other.

Late to the party on this one: But with what Korey said about this recent Tom & Jerry movie, I now want the 1992 Tom & Jerry movie for Bad Movie Roast.
Why couldn't they just take the story from the Residence evil books and adapt them? Personally I think they're among the best game adapted novels and would have worked great for movie adaptions.
Look at the people producing most video game films. It's usually the same people producing them and hiring very bad teams to adapt the source material.
I feel like when people say, “Man I’m tired of Ryan Reynolds doing the same schtick!” But really it just sounds like it’s not his fault. Even though some keep saying they’re getting sick of it, a lot of people still really like it and want him to be Ryan Reynolds and whenever he does a movie outside of what he usually does, they don’t do well, which sucks cause I like him in other stuff like Buried, The Voices, and Mississippi Grind. Hell even Deadpool 1&2 have their moments where that dramatic side shows underneath the humor, showing he actually have more range than people give him credit for. Plus even though I’m one of those people who wants him to do more dramatic roles, I’m not tired of the schtick yet because it can work sometimes when used properly. That’s why the Deadpool movies and last year Free Guy worked because he had good material to back him up and someone reigned him in whereas movies like The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard and Red Notice it seems like the directors and writers aren’t given him anything to work with and let him do his thing. You can say this about a lot of comedic actors like Melissa McCarthy, Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell, they show they can be funny, they just need a good director and solid material.
Yeah I don't support those half assed movies he makes on netflix. The last Ryan Reynolds movie I supported were Deadpool and Life. And those came out years ago.

Mortal Kombat is my favorite entertainment series of all time, no matter the medium. When I watched MK 2021 I was so glad that it didn't suck ass, that the movie ended up being much better in my mind than it actually is lol. Now thinking back to it, its not that great, although not bad. Just a missed opportunity.

My biggest disappointments were F9,Mortal Kombat 2021,and Army of the Dead. I was gonna give F9 a pass but it really just blew up the Shark and jumped over the bits in the ocean. Mortal Kombat 2021 is a joke in every way. No Tournament,the Fatalities suck and wasted Potential with Sub Zero and Scorpion. Cole Young was the Audience Surrogate no one asked for. Army of the Dead was surpassed in every single Way by The Tommorow War from the Action,the characters,the Set Pieces,the Creatures, to the Writing just Making the movie Fun.

That zombie attack in the jail cell in Resident Evil was the slowest zombie attack of all time. He literally saw the zombie wake up then slowly get up then slowly shuffle towards him then slowly get closer then slowly bit him. The guy had a gun and he made zero attempts to defend his self. He could have ran around the cell or something! He did nothing! Didn’t throw the gun or his glasses. Nothing!

I liked the opening and ending fight sequences for Mortal Kombat but everything sandwiched in between was boring and annoying. No one cared about the Cole character.
I somewhat agree. However some scenes like the fights,the fatalities and even some of the characters that are portayed like Scorpion,Jax,Kung Lao and even Kano who was the MVP in this movie keep me invested. By all means it still as bad but the kind of good type of bad whereas MK Annhilation is all bad.
I understand the hate for Mortal Kombat, I do. I was stupidly hyped for the film because it had some really solid trailers and the theme song. And while I liked it, I recognise a lot of its failings. I don't think it's faithfulness to the games was the main issue as much as it was the writing, direction and certain updates they made to the characters and mythology. If they had gotten rid of Cole, cut out a few characters and stuck to the core essentials of it being good vs evil with action and violence then this film could've been great. The film was so close but so far from hitting the target as an adaptation.
Probably the most disturbing thing about Music was it advocated grown adults throwing their bodies onto a panicking child, pinning her to the ground and restraining her so she’s unable to escape or fight back, until she was too worn out to move by claiming it was some loving, caring act. No. That is abuse on so many levels. If you took the “crushing her with my love” scenes, showed them to someone, and claimed, “These are predators pinning down their victim as part of abuse,” they wouldn’t question it that it was meant to portray abuse because that’s exactly what it is. You hear stories about how the old time lunatic asylums strapped down, beat, starved, and otherwise tortured patients and claimed, “It’s for their own good!” when really it was about power trips and wanting to stop patients from talking back. It’s the same with this abomination of a movie.
Space Jam A New Legacy is by far the worst movie ever made by bad direction, script, too many Easter eggs and LeBron James being treated as a King. WB, why?

I definitely feel you on this one. After hearing/seeing bad reviews for it, I can't bring myself to watch it. It'll ruin the effect of the first one for me, which remains my favorite comedy to this day.
I don't think Mortal Kombat 2021 deserves to be in the worst movies list. I know DT has it's opinions but I thought it was better than it had any right to be. Sub-zero was a beast, Scorpion was great too although he was relegated to the last 20 min of the film. The only knowledgeable flaw in the film is that it didn't have a complete focus on the story or which character it should focus on. As a fan of the franchise who waited for a modern MK reboot movie for 25 f**king years, I was pleased.
Let there be carnage definitely needed rewrites and possibly a better director. Cause those were good actors that if given better direction and a better script would have knocked it out the park. It had sooo much potential i generally love venom and i agree i didnt like the weird gay vibes they gave to the symbiote. I hope they will improve venom.

I'm gonna say it...RESPECT, I thought this movie was slow, boring and a complete rip off of RAY, down to the part, in order for her to kick drinking and drugging she sees her dead mother to put her back on track. I have nothing but respect (no pun) for the legendary Aretha Franklin and I thought she deserved better. Jennifer Hudson can sing her ass off, but I didnt wanna hear her sing AFs songs...I wanted to hear Aretha. I know this is not on anyone else's list...but it's on mine.

I never even finished Coming 2 America. I never made it past the part where Eddie was allegedly raped by the child’s mother after Arsenio apparently gave him some roofies. I’m like wtf is this. I don’t even care if it came back and redeemed that scene.

It is not only a bad, ignorant, insulting and insensitive movie.
It is a dangerous and irresponsible movie.
It teaches techniques how to "help" autistic people that have a fit or panic attack that puts both people in possible mortal danger and portrays is as a very good thing. It was condemned by several health and organisations to help people on the spectrum.
Yet behind the scenes Cia ignored all feedback, criticism and advice from everyone both before and after the movie came out. This was her vanity project.
This is like that covid movie from last year where it is not only insulting and bad but dangerous.

Cia has blocked the girls agents or talked her out of starring in roles in other projects were she wasn't involved to "protect" her from bad roles and influences ironically it seems like Cia herself might mess up her career the way this is going. It is like she has made herself a parental figure to the girl even she she wants to or not.
The girl herself I bear no ill against, she seems like good person and having someone as imposing and big as Cia to willingly be your mentor in an uncertain business at such a young age would make any young person put way more trust than they in someone like Cia.
She actually wanted to quit the role because she felt bad about the betrayal of autism and didn't want people to feel that she was making fun of them in her portrayal. Naturally Cia talked her out of it and encouraged her to go on.
I think people barely accept their relationship because they are both the same gender. But if one of them was the opposite sex then alarm bells would be going off like if a fire station was on fire.
The whole things feels like an animated movie where Cia eventually has her parents (especially her mom) killed so she is the lone protector of her.

Carnage in the movie didn’t feel any different than any other average symbiote, and he has probably one of the most distinctive personalities of any Spider-Man villain. They lost me completely when Brock says “they’re not compatible”. Cletus and Carnage are extremely compatible, more so than Eddie and Venom, they adore each other.

Why couldn't they just take the story from the Residence evil books and adapt them? Personally I think they're among the best game adapted novels and would have worked great for movie adaptions.

Look at the people producing most video game films. It's usually the same people producing them and hiring very bad teams to adapt the source material.
I feel like when people say, “Man I’m tired of Ryan Reynolds doing the same schtick!” But really it just sounds like it’s not his fault. Even though some keep saying they’re getting sick of it, a lot of people still really like it and want him to be Ryan Reynolds and whenever he does a movie outside of what he usually does, they don’t do well, which sucks cause I like him in other stuff like Buried, The Voices, and Mississippi Grind. Hell even Deadpool 1&2 have their moments where that dramatic side shows underneath the humor, showing he actually have more range than people give him credit for.
Plus even though I’m one of those people who wants him to do more dramatic roles, I’m not tired of the schtick yet because it can work sometimes when used properly. That’s why the Deadpool movies and last year Free Guy worked because he had good material to back him up and someone reigned him in whereas movies like The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard and Red Notice it seems like the directors and writers aren’t given him anything to work with and let him do his thing. You can say this about a lot of comedic actors like Melissa McCarthy, Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell, they show they can be funny, they just need a good director and solid material.
Yeah I don't support those half assed movies he makes on netflix. The last Ryan Reynolds movie I supported were Deadpool and Life. And those came out years ago.

Autism is a spectrum. So there is no one size fits all approach to how it's portrayed.
Mortal Kombat is my favorite entertainment series of all time, no matter the medium. When I watched MK 2021 I was so glad that it didn't suck ass, that the movie ended up being much better in my mind than it actually is lol. Now thinking back to it, its not that great, although not bad. Just a missed opportunity.
I still think it was great. Better than the original imo. Watching the original now instead of watching it back in the 90's is painful.

That zombie attack in the jail cell in Resident Evil was the slowest zombie attack of all time. I liked the opening and ending fight sequences for Mortal Kombat but everything sandwiched in between was boring and annoying. No one cared about the Cole character.

I somewhat agree. However some scenes like the fights,the fatalities and even some of the characters that are portayed like Scorpion,Jax,Kung Lao and even Kano who was the MVP in this movie keep me invested. By all means it still as bad but the kind of good type of bad whereas MK Annhilation is all bad.
I understand the hate for Mortal Kombat, I do. I was stupidly hyped for the film because it had some really solid trailers and the theme song. And while I liked it, I recognise a lot of its failings.
I don't think it's faithfulness to the games was the main issue as much as it was the writing, direction and certain updates they made to the characters and mythology. If they had gotten rid of Cole, cut out a few characters and stuck to the core essentials of it being good vs evil with action and violence then this film could've been great. The film was so close but so far from hitting the target as an adaptation.
Probably the most disturbing thing about Music was it advocated grown adults throwing their bodies onto a panicking child, pinning her to the ground and restraining her so she’s unable to escape or fight back, until she was too worn out to move by claiming it was some loving, caring act. No. That is abuse on so many levels. If you took the “crushing her with my love” scenes, showed them to someone, and claimed, “These are predators pinning down their victim as part of abuse,” they wouldn’t question it that it was meant to portray abuse because that’s exactly what it is. You hear stories about how the old time lunatic asylums strapped down, beat, starved, and otherwise tortured patients and claimed, “It’s for their own good!” when really it was about power trips and wanting to stop patients from talking back. It’s the same with this abomination of a movie.
Say all you want about Mortal Kombat 2021 surprisingly it is not the worst Mortal Kombat movie to come out in 2021.

I don't think Mortal Kombat 2021 deserves to be in the worst movies list. I know DT has it's opinions but I thought it was better than it had any right to be. Sub-zero was a beast, Scorpion was great too although he was relegated to the last 20 min of the film.
The only knowledgeable flaw in the film is that it didn't have a complete focus on the story or which character it should focus on. As a fan of the franchise who waited for a modern MK reboot movie for 25 f**king years, I was pleased.

It genuinely breaks my heart to see Aisling Bea's name on Home Shit Home Aboned.
Honestly, it's not even a case of firing her agent. Like, that's not enough of an excuse. Did somebody have something on her? Was it a Movie 43 deal where she got tricked into signing the contract and couldn't get out of it? She's a funny comedian, and a talented writer and performer, and I just refuse to believe that she thought doing this movie - and doing the worst English accent since Dick Van Dyke - was a good idea.
I'm not angry Aisling, I'm just disappointed.
I hope they revoice Venom in future Spiderman films.
For real. I don't mind his current voice but he's an alien, and what does an alien sound like? Like an alien of course. He should have a screechy voice like he did in the 90's animated show. Not like a burly dude from the streets of Brooklyn. 😐

I'm gonna say it...RESPECT, I thought this movie was slow, boring and a complete rip off of RAY, down to the part, in order for her to kick drinking and drugging she sees her dead mother to put her back on track.
I have nothing but respect (no pun) for the legendary Aretha Franklin and I thought she deserved better.
Jennifer Hudson can sing her ass off, but I didnt wanna hear her sing AFs songs...I wanted to hear Aretha.
