PV TEST - FELCOM SAT-C

Sir how to check LRIT is working?

Sir, in the annual test both LRIT and SSAS test is carried out. Personally, i have seen it done and hence i know it's working.
Also, if you watch carefully, you will observe, "Position updated successfully" print coming every 6 hours or so. Its a single line print.
This shows the LRIT position has been successfully generated and sent.
Other than this, I too have no further information about the same.
If you get an update, or if I get one, we should post the info on this thread as an update.

Sir, mu company has shore technician coming onboard for these tests. Since he was the ine doing it, and since vessel was in dry dock, i was unable to see how it was done.
I will ask any of my friends and come back sir.
