The reason why it was so underused is because it was originally going to sound very similar to anglow but they scrapped the sound last minute because they were too similar. Basically to the monster handler composers probably thought pinghound wasn’t important for the overall song.

gotta be honest. I love how Pinghound and Anglow play more, and I love the reverb on everything. using Bleatnik as a transition was also genius.
my one gripe is the use of the unused Cranchee track because like.. it isn't really that good, its just the main melody but slightly different and it just makes the main verse feel too repetitive. other than that, I think this is probably one of the coolest mixes I've heard by far.
