Warsaw, IN Trains: Street Running, Wabash Heritage, NS 4004 DC/AC, CFER

- I stopped by Warsaw, IN along Norfolk Southern's Marion Branch to check out the street running in the downtown area. The mainline passes down the middle of Hickory St. for two blocks in a residential/commercial area. On one side of the street are family homes, the other, businesses. I was parked and positioned in a CVS pharmacy parking lot.
I caught three trains there in what was a mixed-blessing situation. All three trains had excellent locomotive consists, but the weather for two of them was terrible.
TRAIN 1: Immediately upon arrival, 17M begins heading north, crossing the Chicago Ft. Wayne & Eastern mainline, then passing down Hickory Street. This train had NS 4004, a DC to AC conversion locomotive in a special paint scheme. A storm was just beginning to roll-in as well, and some thunder can be heard in the background. I was positioned under a tree which helped with the early light rain, but eventually the rain became too heavy and I had to run and put the camera back in the car before the train concluded.
TRAIN 2: Just as the storm was breaking up, finally, NS 60C, a loaded steel slab train, headed south through town with NS 1070 the Wabash Heritage locomotive, as well as a CN Dash-8 40C rounding out the consist. Unfortunately, the storm had just a little bit more rain to dump before finally clearing out, so again, this train got cut short.
TRAIN 3: As soon as 60C cleared the area, so did the rain, which allowed for a full accounting of a Chicago Ft. Wayne & Eastern freight with a 'tunnel motor' on the point.
Kind of surprised this isn't a quiet zone like la Grange

Is it me or is the Marion branch busier under NS than Conrail?

One question how fast do trains have to go when they are streetrunning?
Usually pretty slow, but it varies by location.
