    What a GREAT coach. To understand to step back and admit it. What a great man. No wonder he is the best. I bet he has a lot of men that would do anything he says. And rightfully so.

    Adeanya has literally hurt Alex in all 4 fights with the exact same punches. The only difference this time was that neither the referee or the bell could save him and make him recover fast... Whatever the gameplan was, it wasn't really needed much.

    • @davidquartey
      @davidquartey ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Exactly. In all, either the judges, ref or bell saved him. None this time.

      @@davidquarteyThe fact that this has happened multiple times to Izzy shows me that it was a matter of Izzy not being confident enough to pull the trigger earlier on in the round but he's always had the tools/ability to do it. I've noticed he has a pattern of hurting fighters right at the end of the round in fights. Even after he's already established a good distance and the other fighter shows potential openings, Izzy often won't take them until that last 1 minute of the round. This is why people hate on him and it's a massive weakness to let the other fighter back into the fight even if you feel you are winning. He learned this lesson from his loss to Alex. Excited to see what Izzy we see in future fights.

      Izzy had to be saved by Godard in UFC fight I. He wouldn't admit he got rocked. Neither His mate Usman nor Pereira were such sore losers. Izzy said that Mazagatti should be brought back. That wouldn't have turned out well for Izzy. His own cornerman was happy it was stopped.

      @@andreinekrasov2036 true! It doesn't negate the original comment though. Both can be true

    • @alcottdevalte7440
      @alcottdevalte7440 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@andreinekrasov2036 Marc is arguably amongst the worst referee's. He allowed Whittaker to get knocked out twice in the first fight against Adesanya, and he waited for Glover to be killed against Jamahal when Glover clearly was in 10x times worse positions than Adesanya and the fight wasn't stopped. Finally, someone speaking about it because the reason Adesanya did so well in the rematch against Alex was because Marc stopped it just at the moment Alex could have gotten the knockout of the year, but he didn't and Adesanya should thank him for that because his career could have changed direction for the worse unlike Alex who has gotten knocked out cold now at the age of 36 this summer...

    Eugenes talk at 10:50 onwards about removing the ego out of the situation because of things that hadn't worked prior is MASSIVE, more than people realise. Alot of situations with most people can be remedied and teams (not only in combat sports but a team environment) can succeed a lot quicker if people learn how to do this. Love how Eugene talks about this sort of thing, you can see why CKB has succeeded in every aspect of the sport.

    Good interview! Bareman is such a team man and went out of his way to spread the credit for a great victory around. That's real confidence. And such a masterful coach. They really stretched the boundaries on what people though they could expect from Israel this time. Having such a range available doesn't augur well for his future opponents.

    I love how much of a die hard fan Tony is. Thru & thru. It reminds me of where I live, we have the Oregon state Beaver's, and we have a guy who has covered everything Beaver's. All the ups and downs, and when we had good times it was so rewarding being underdog's. Our rivals are the Oregon Ducks who are fully funded by Nike and other financial support and are usually in the top rankings and drafting abilities. Regardless each year Oregon state competes against
    The university of Oregon. (It was called "the civil war" for 120+ yrs but they just changed the name of it. It's always been a cool clash of competition)
