The Huntsman: Winter's War was a big disappointment. So I had struggled to forget how they tortured logic until I decided to simply use Freya as someone close to OC. Because Emily Blunt is a really good actress and even this awful script couldn't ruin her acting.
And since some part of me liked the idea of Thranduil/Freya even before the film came out (thank you, the great vidders of TH-cam!), the end was inevitable.
When I heard this song, I thought it was just perfect for this crossover.
And yes, in this vid Thranduil hasn't got any wife or son (though you can watch this as Freya-will-be-Legolas'-mother kind of story, if you like it this way).

This is sooo beautiful!!! I could clearly see the growth of their relationship...as he comes to understand her and she starts to trust him. I really love the scene from 0:29 to 2:13. The voiceovers and manip are stunning. It's such a moving sequence. Also the scene at 1:57, the looks they give each other! Brilliant. This is all the more fantastic since they aren't actually in a movie together!!! Great job

So what is the plot of this vid? Need an explanation please
Freya advances in her conquest far enough to obtain the lands that are adjacent to Thranduil's kingdom. Since Freya doesn't want to end her "let's-make-war-and-save-the-children" campaign and is ready to fight again, this situation creates a menace to the elves, so Thranduil decides to go on negotiations of some sort, offering an alliance instead of a conflict. When he comes to Freya's castle, he quickly understands Freya's psychological problems and tries to help her to cure her heart and mind. His work is successful, and in the end Freya renounces Ravenna's powers that she was ready to use in her war before, and strives to let the past go. She still has a long way to go, but now she believes in love again and knows she has someone she really can trust.
At least, in my head the story went like that)))

I'd really love to, but Freya's scenes are so limited in number that I don't think I can develop this plot, since I've already used almost everything and all the other Emily Blunt's films won't help much :(
Possibly some fudging with similar-looking actresses, special effects and using only partial faces (like zooming in on eyes as they widen, lips as they part to speak, or even the back of a head, clasped hands, etc.?) might be ok as a work-around? Idk what's plausible to you, since you know your skills, softwear and clips-availability best, but you seem very talented. I bet you'd craft something worthy. I'm gonna keep an eye on you ; ) Even if you don't make a sequel to this particular vid, though I hope you will, because you've got mad-skills!
