TXT's concepts are more complicated and harder to grasp in the first listen that's why I think u guys weren't really able to understand the story of sugar rush ride. So here's an explanation (but at the end of the day for each their interpretation and that's the beauty of TXT's music). The song actually references peter pan and the lost Boys. The members trying to escape their real lives get easily tempted and lured to a land of fantasy, a land for all their unrealistic desires to happen, a place for them alone. Each of them experience temptation differently but soon enough their daydreaming becomes a nightmare as they all realise the happiness they're living is a mere lie and will end up hurting them ('you're bad, you liar!') for example soobin gets amazed by the water the moment they step foot in the island he loves it so much that he keeps looking for the biggest body of water, when he reaches the waterfalls he falls in it..or more he gets sucked in! In the bridge huening kai screams "GET AWAY" and they finally leave to face their reality. The song also has traditional Korean elements in the choreography and borrows some lyrics from the korean pansori called chunhyangga.

I’m going to have to go with TXT again. They’re so so talented and versatile! Their concept is always so hard to understand from an outside perspective but to summarize it’s basically an ongoing journey from youth into adulthood with a lot of fantasy elements. Their mini-album, “The Name Chapter: Temptation” (Sugar Rush Ride is the title track on this album) was Peter Pan inspired and their latest comeback is inspired by The Little Prince.
Sugar rush ride is THE song For me personally, TXT always have good concepts and especially sugar rush ride. It's about the devil tempting them with sugar and them falling into their desires and becoming addicted to this fake reality and not knowing how to get rid of the sweet obsession. It's really clever how they linked it with peter pan and neverland.
