Here, we define and discuss sets and proper subsets. We give some notation and do a few examples as well. Finally, we arrive at a formula for the number of subsets and proper subsets of a set with n elements.

Yes. E subset D means ALL the elements in E can also be found in D. This isn’t true, as E has the element 2 which cannot be found in set D. Hope this helps lol
