Active duty tanker here. These Abrams were real. They were used at NTC and JMRC by the OPFOR units for the rotational combat unit to train against. Today these tanks have been replaced by heavily modified M113s and the ERA on those is simply made of wood and the little blade you see in the front was made of some poles and OSHKOSH mudflaps. I’m assuming the ERA is made of wood on the KVT as well so it probably isn’t very helpful against any kind of munitions.

Regarding collecting peoples turrets, back in the days in eve online, there where always people running around and picking up frozen corpses from people who had been podded (ie, properly killed back to hangar). You'd get a "frozen corpse of XXX" or something similar. Some of those weirdos would literally have thousands of them.
I definitely agree with the trophies and collecting accolades! It should even record a short 5-10 seconds clip of when it happened so you can go back and watch it

I agree with the turret pop thing, add it to collectibles inventory. Tell what vehicle and which player it came from and how many turrets of that vehicle you have popped. Personally I would make it my goal to go across all tiers and try to collect all of the turrets. Maybe make an unlockable decal or camo or something for popping them all

That second tank cooked off quick. Seen that a couple times recently; pretty cool and realistic for a tank’s ammo to take 4-10 seconds to cook before detonating as the rounds heat up.
I can’t believe how many people I’ve seen complaining about how it never existed… like bro the game literally has a Panther II, Maus, IS4, IS7, Porsche Tiger and soooo much more that either never existed or never saw combat and every single time people complain about them not existing then being fine lol. This is a great tank imo And congrats on the baby man!!🎊🎉
Might be worth to revisit some wire-guided now. It is quite different. Popping T-80s with SS11 ATGMs is sadly a bit harder now. (UH-1D, my beloved :( ) Raketenjagdpanzer 2 feels better tho. Its missiles are very stable.
To expand on your turret dog tag idea because I think it's cool make it more involved, if we take a tank out and want a trophie from it we have to drag the the dead body of the tank back to base with our tow cables, maybe we get an xp reward if the tank is of a similar tech tree as the tank we used to recover it. Of course you make the dead body have weight so it's a challenge to get it back and maybe once someone starts to tow the tank it notifies the enemy to hunt you down to make it dynamic.

It provides not just visual concealment but also is radar scattering and provides a minimum of an 80% reduction in thermal signature. In addition to the thermal signature reduction, it is engineered to heat and cool just like vegetation.
Seeing other people play in this update make realize thats theres delay after you hit the enemy and the "target destroyed" message appeared either its a bug or a feature idk.
Yesterday they updated warthunder and OMG I LOVE THE NEW SOUNDS FOR THE CREW AND WORDS FOR THEM! STUFF IM FREAKEN HAPPY THE BOYCOTT WORKED SO FAR! Including the other improvements people should try it out

War Thunder needs a system where we can have killboards for our tanks and aircraft. It would track what you had killed and how many and you would get silhouettes on your tank that showed it.
