Yogis! A lot of you request for more wrist-free and hands-free yoga videos. Here's another one! This is a short (a little over 15 minutes) standing practice where we focus on strengthening our lower body and improving balance. It was a lot of fun playing with the poses but also a lot of work! Try it out and let me know what you think. Thanks everyone :) - Maris
Yoga Upload pleasant surprise to see a new hands/wrist free video. I broke my collarbone last month and I've been doing these videos exclusively. You're one of the better TH-cam yoga instructors; no frills, just yoga.
Thank you for your work on this excellent video Maris. This helps a lot of students who love flowing Yoga, but can't put pressure on their wrists. Well done!
Hi Maris! I love your videos, so authentic and real. I was wondering if you could do more wrist free & hands free practices? I just can't do the practices that involve dwd's, chatarangas etc. Thank you, Paula!
Wow! Loved this one that I did it 2x’s bc it was too quick for me. I was sweating w the 1st round….the 2nd there was a pool by my was perfectLY CHALLENGING and yet wrist free. Thank u!
Thank you for this!! I had a little ouch on my wrists and the thought of holding myself in plank etc. was painful, but I still wanted to do some yoga. So this was perfect!
Excellent class! I got diagnosed with Dequervain's in my left wrist and have been struggling to find challenging yoga classes to do that are hands-/wrist-free. Thank you!
I love your short hands-free yoga video. I did this video for my morning workout and feel so energized and well. I hope you do more short (10-15 minute) hands-free yoga flows soon!
Thank you so much for this! I’ve done physical labor for all of my adult life, and as a result, I am riddled with repetitive motion injuries. I love yoga, but cannot do anything bearing weight on my hands. I have been doing your wrist free practices exclusively for a little over a year now. They are perfect for me. Thank you for having enough of them to give me a variety!
Absolutely wonderful practice! I actually surprised myself with how well I was able to breathe during the balancing poses, and could really feel my legs awakening & strengthening.
Just what I needed this morning! I wish the screen hadn't kept going black.... I don't know if that was a problem with the video or With TH-cam. Have you ever thought of coming out with a video completely on the floor with triangle, warriors practiced on the back? Namaste.
Make sure you ask your doctor first if you are cleared to practice yoga. Just take it easy and proceed with caution, like with everything else. I have some gentle practices too if you prefer a slower pace and less intensity. This is a continuous flow. You can preview the class to see if it's something you want to try. We only do standing poses in this one and a lot of balancing. Congratulations on your pregnancy!
