Dude it’s not the fault of the animators. They had zero time to animate, and their animations were cut out. The studio gave them nothing to work with, and they’re doing their best to make this the best they can. Some scenes were very well done, so take what you can get.

It’s not even an exaggeration or an overreaction. This episode was completely unwatchable. And I feel completely bad for non manga readers, because how can you even understand what’s going on with just pngs of characters sliding across the screen with premade effects. I’d rather wait 2-5 years for an amazing animated season, then watch another failed animated season of an anime like Seven Deadly Frames. Financially it would have been genius for a bigger Studio to pick this up. At this point it’s obvious this project it’s just a money grab. Rushed Season, Overworked “Animators”, and bad animation. Sorry for ranting and crashing out like a kid but I felt it was appropriate to express how I feel and what I think and believe could’ve been done. It’s sad, but blue lock will always be remembered as, “ The anime is garbage, it’s better to read it” show. But what can we do we’re just a random viewers 🤷♂️. Not gonna lie... when I saw that initial clip in the episode... I had to re watch it 50 times to consider whether he was breaking physics or whether he just that talented 😂.
My analysis:
1) This move is actually possible!
2) the MAIN problem is the beginning part
A) He had 0 momentum (negative in fact) 💀
B) he had 0 time in contact with the ground with the foot that could generate momentum to that side
So...
Conclusion...
Sae has trained his feet to move their fingers inside his shoes so fast that in a half inch gap inside his shoe... he can generate enough momentum to throw his body the opposite way 🗿
Or.. he had explosives under his foot.

Ive hit a brick wall with my friends who like Blue Lock because of season 1 but refuse to read the manga for season 2. I tell them its easy to read and you can read whole episodes worth of content in less time than one of these episodes. Hell, the "animation" may even be better since the author includes faded afterimage type stuff for characters dribbling or running fast to convey technique or speed. Anime only people are stubborn...

I've always said that I like Rin more as a player than Kaiser but that kaiser was still better but given the latest chapter regarding what Isagi said that they cannot stop Rin the way he is now that means Rin has surpassed Kaiser's skill level currently/temporarily🔥 making Rin a new gen XI player either as the LW or as the ST Kaiser🔥🧠⚽😎(Isagi 2.0) is new gen XI material💪 and his potential is just as big as Rin's he's going to get crazy and will be better than Rin again but eventually Rin will surpass him again before the end of the series🔥

Honestly I would rather just have the whole show be fully done in CGI at this point. If you disagree and think thats bad, you're literally saying that you'd rather have PNG's being dragged across the screen than witnessing actual movement. That is an objectively bad mindset to have. Not all CGI is bad, and in this case I want to see what I was expecting from an anime adaptation. MOVEMENT! And lastly, dont blame the staff, they had zero time to animate, and its not budget either. If you ask a chief to make you a meal in 2 minutes, is that meal a representation of the chefs skill? No, same rule applies to animation.

I would hardly call this Blue Lock's biggest game, especially considering the only real challenge for the Blue Lock players are Sae and Shido, the rest are defective. Neo Egoist League proved that the upcoming Season will provide the best matches in Blue Lock till now. Season 2 is a minor inconvenience. All that matters is they redeem themselves in Season 3. If they need time to perfect it then I'm willing to wait 3-5 years if need be. Anything to avoid another hurricane of disasters like this season.
