Everyone of his comedian friends said he always liked the obscure, odd and out the box comedy. He liked other comedians who took risks and everything these two guys do is either going to get a room falling about laughing or it’s going to get silence (I can’t imagine it going over well in a working mens club).
Not that I'm a comedian, or even particularly funny. But I can tell why Sean lock is referred to as a "comedians comedian" he's not the most risible person and I feel like when someone makes him laugh you know its a banging joke. Really miss him

The Brett Domino trio is fantastic. They were active in the early days of TH-cam - been following them since they were an actual trio (10+ years). They are, and always have been, masters of the humour in deliberate awkwardness! Just sad that a lot of their songs have been removed off TH-cam in later years.
I'm curious - which songs? Also, I'm sure you'll agree that 'Brett Domino's Weekly TH-cam Thing' is criminally under-viewed (loads of Brett Domino things should have far more views than they currently have).
@@hoppybird Oh, a bunch. These guys are great song writers. ‘Meal Deal’ is a superb parody of every corny 1980s love song. The sickly twinkly synth and that key change. Bang on 👌

I love that “Steven Peavis” momentarily breaks character at 0:11 by laughing at Jimmy’s joke, then quickly gets back into character when he realises the camera is on him!
There are comedians that make people laugh, and there are comedians that make other comics laugh - the trio slide into countdown like a smooth gear change impressing your driving instructor; a display of quality.
Best thing about the whale story is that the explosives expert on site warned the guy in charge that he was using far too much dynamite... He was ignored of course. So to be safe the expert moved his car further from the blast... When the whale got exploded, large chunks rained down all over the area, causing mostly no damage and just making a big mess. However one particularly large chunk crushed a car parked at the far end of the carpark... You guessed it... It was the explosive experts.

Sean Lock laughing at the cast intro / guitar solo portion of the EOOTCDC song is honestly one of the most wholesome moments for me. RIP Sean ❤️
sean loves when people dedicate to a bit like brett and joe
He loved it when Miles brought in the picture of him 😂❤️

"I dropped my pen."😆
the timing and presentation are obvious but the songwriting talent is undeniable too. hope to see more of brett domino trio in the future.
Rob J Madin (the one in glasses) writes some pretty excellent funk as a solo project too
He's on TH-cam as well
"But bin men get sad".
Right there. Absolute gold.
*_BUT NOT NOW SHE NOT_*
She the one for mee .... one of the best lines
“But bin men get sad” must be up there with the greatest lyrics ever written.
a lot of people shit on these two but the fact that Sean Lock always loses his shit when these two are on is good enough for me.

We need a stand-off between these guys and The Horn Section.
awkward-off 🤌
Total commitment to character, these guys are genius
Incredible comedic timing. I never knew you could optimize awkwardness
Flight of the conchords
Willie Muse
Keeping a straight face cannot be easy on EOOTCDC, some lyrical genius and immense dry humour 👐
Watching Joe, Sean and Susie enjoy themselves in different songs was a delight. Love these guys!

The clip of Sean Lock at the beginning of the Keytar part on the EOOTCDC theme is my favourite bit.
Definetly getting Flight of the Concords vibes from these two. Definetly not a bad thing
I was slow to take a shine to this act, but the three-letter word song was even more endearing for all of its little cheats: COS, EYE, MEE, PLS.
Cut out of the whale song clip was Jimmy's reaction: "I thought the West End was in trouble before you sang that."
These guys, the horn section and the weird Ivor the radio guy are all absolute geniuses
* Ivan *
☑️ I'd also add Mr Swallows to that list.
Ivan was recently busted for a ton of inappropriate child photos
If i was ever invited on Desert Island Discs, the song using exclusively 3 lettered words would be one of my songs.

Anyone else get sad when they see Sean Lock? I still can't believe he's gone.
The Meal Deal song has been living in my head for the past month.
Simon Cowell said about the Brett Domino Trio " This is a joke isn't it? " Well Simon we got it but you didn't. 🤣😂👏
They're grown up Gene Belcher and Regular-Sized Rudy.
And the theme song reminds me a lot of Digimon song.
