I really miss entertaining live action kids movies like this. Goonies, Willy Wonka, Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins, Night at the Museum, Night at the Museum 2, Home Alone, so many fun films.
This was a great Goosebumps movie. I never read much of the books when I was a kid, I mainly grew up watching the TV show. Buddy, there's a lot slappy missed to open up. Besides if he DID open all the books, where's the giant Evan Ross from monster blood 3 or The cursed camera from say cheese and die? Also, how come only the antagonist monsters only came out? What about the protagonists themesleves?

I love slappy’s commanding presence in the movies. It’s like all the monsters personally know how strong slappy is and their scared of him.
