I bought two houses in 2018 and have had multiple contractors steal money from me without doing any work orterrible work and it’s just so discouraging. I really feel you saying you sulked for 3 years upset about the 6 figure loss bc I’m literally exactly there rn and It’s just so hard trying to keep doing what you’re supposed to when it seems like nothing is working out when you do.

I always tell young women, don't be co-dependent and let people say not to be independent. Because if something happens to your co-dependent lifestyle. You get left trying to figure it out. I've seen women in their 50's and 60's hit that roadblock and in today's day and time, it can be more challenging.
