@@Maria-moria-b9y3k I know it's horrifying to think that we could all possibly be hooked up in pods, and fed a virtual reality, but there was a time where I thought it would be cool if it was real, because of what you can do in it. Think of it this way, in some ways reality is more locked-down than the matrix. In the matrix, you can break the rules, bend the laws of its reality to your liking, especially if you're the one. In reality, we can't punch through walls, or fly, or stop bullets. But maybe the people trapped in the matrix, the blue pills, can't do that either. I guess I think it would be cool to be a redpill, and perform superhuman feats of strength. That appeals to my sense of freedom.
But then, as we've seen in the animatrix, some blue pills, like the track star, are able to bend the physical laws of the matrix with enough willpower and belief. Unlike waking life, where all of us are firmly bound to the laws. No one has ever been able to run as fast as a car, or fly, or punch through solid brick walls. It's impossible. The matrix, ironically enough, gave humanity more choices than they ever had in their waking life. A living dream
Just got out of seeing The Matrix Resurrections and it was as fresh and thrilling as the original trilogy! The new film makes a statement about the mindset of today's time in regards to politics and social consciousness.
On reflection I think it's supposed to be indicative of Neo's precognition; he's seeing it happen before it really does later in the film, so the sound is showing how the sequence of events is pre-determined.
Fractal structures seen briefly 0:49 - 0:54 suggested right off the bat infinite complexity of the Matrix and multiple (also possibly countably infinite :D) layers of what the characters in the movie perceived as reality. Too bad that this really trippy idea had never been taken further. The third movie lacked courage & by the fourth the creators had forgotten what it was all about :D
Its so silly to see security guards or gangsters or whatever "bad guys" in whatever moviet to always fight to the last man, no matter what! It would be much more interesting to see a lot of them just flee the scene or beg for mercy or whatever. It is not in a human nature to always fight to the death so to speak. If i was security guard at that place, id be heading the other direction as soon as that bike crashed and blew up that small house :P
Do all the openings start with Trinity.. also here the directors kinda throws us a hint she would be messing around with bikes later in the movie - cool attention to detail.
Trying to respond to a 1 year old comment lol. But can anyone (genuinely asking) say that the subtle “shick-shick-shick-shick’’ sound at two minutes twenty five seconds, right before they fire, isn’t anything like noises actual Uzi guns would make? Just like to point out that the POV gets to within inches of the hole part where the bullets come out lol. Not sure what that’s called. So, noises that might otherwise be imperceptible could be heard maybe? The other thing is the time-shift POV you’ve got ‘normal reality’ moving at it’s speed, and the observer (which is Neo this is his dream after all) observing that normal-speed time as happening in slow motion, therefore he’s got like 1 whole second for every 1/10th of a second, and being that close to two weapons about to start spraying bullets. I would think there would be all kinds of noises you might imagine you would hear under those circumstances. Just wondering if anyone who knows everything there is to know about Uzis, could say 😝
One of the better Matrix films, although the very first one was the best of them and best done, IMHO. The second one was OK, the 3rd not so good, IMHO. Hopefully, these films will finally WAKE UP the masses of people and sheeple/sheople (baaahh!!) too. Quit their darn Kool Aid and blue pills already, folks. Do all that you can to re-educate yourselves and free yourself from their system of bondage in real life. Temet Nosce. (Very important, IMHO). Peace.
It was this scene early on where I realized they completely ruined it. From this point on a steady drop to the bottom, ending with the cinematic abortion Resurrection.
It's going to be a f****** nonsense if Lana simply names the film 'The Matrix 4'. Matrix, Reloaded and Revolutions meant something in the titles, what does 4 stand for?
Matrix sure have one of the best soundtracks out there.
Its one of my favorite and most memorable. A total masterpiece in my estimation.
Totally
Very unique and creative music
Soundtrack is good, the score is perfect
I agree
Best opening sequence of the series. The music and the endless layers of code is beautiful.
CGI 10/10
Soundtrack 10/10
Action 10/10
Goosebumps 10/10
Film rating?
Everything 10/10
The Matrix is a work of art. Not just the movie, but what the architect made. It's beautiful, precise, systemtic. Perfection.
Agree with you

as soon as the music fades in and warner bros logo bends, oh my god
Whoever composed the soundtrack is genius
Don Davis is the name
I never thought about it until now. the sound design is incredible.
I still remember tbeing in the theatre when I see this movie first time
Goosebumps. Can't wait for 4
The official title…The Matrix Resurrections
They just dropped it, the trailer
@@thedude9534 Just saw it. GLORIOUS!!!!
@@fortminor85 yeah man
Nah. If you got exited from this opening right here you're going to be disappointed got Resurrections is a whole other game. Different vibe.
One of the BEST OPENING. SCENES &THEME SONGS OF ALL TIME F/X STILL HOLDS IN 2020
Once you hear that intro , you know u in for a good ride!
Samurai at Thorpe Park, by any chance?
CGI 9/10
Soundtrack 12/10
Choreography 100/10
Idk, the soundtrack is _pretty_ dope. I'd say Choreography and Soundtrack are either both 12 or 100.
this sole intro is better than the entire matrix 4 movie
Indeed
Nope matrix is better then first movie it awesome 😂
I was so like matrix reloaded when I was teenage
My favorite one out of the entire 3
Yes, 3rd intro wasn't good
@@crxracer805 I like it but not better than this one
@@crxracer805 I loved the 3rd
Reloaded is my favourite of the trilogy
This intro is sort of epic

Ressurections MUST HAVE this intro.
It's like watching two storm troopers shoot it out in slow motion.
2:25 Even tho it doesn’t make any sense as far as how weapons work, I dig the “charging” sounds that her Uzis make before firing.
Are you Republican ?

Maybe its just her squeezing the triggers that are starting to move the gun mechanisms
Growing up as a teen, i always wanted to do that motorcycle jump
you still can
Everyone realizes this but I have to point out that the last chord of the fanfare in the intro is an illusion and we all fell for it
where is it?
@@Godspeed961 at 0:15 you expect the same high note again but it's actually *a different one*
@@sciencoking Yes it is a little bit satisfying note :D
Don Davis is a genius. Trust me, watch in IMAX 70mm
I looove the music.. it´s flawless and I also love that "WACK!!" of the helmet punching teeth and consciousness outta ya´.. XD

He was only dreaming about Trinity and realised that she's asleep in reality.

Yo, didn't know it at the time, but a lot of the green text is just mirrored japanese katakana, i love it.
Cindy & Lauren’s 2: Bogus Journey (1992)
Jamie Renée Smith
Pam Anderson
0:35 The Matrix Reloaded (2003)
It is close to reality. Although it is possible to watch while enjoying it by being tolerated in leaping expression, it is thoughtfully thoughtful.
Let's remember the unnecessary death of the innocent security guard that got blown up in the hut 😔 😟.
Trinity in her natural habitat
Best intro ever
I thought my TV was starting to take a crap! 💩 lol glad it’s just edited this way. Warner bro intro had me tripping
The superhero landing was born in the matrix, not in the real world.

She would more likely die than let the agents kill her, as a last option kinda thing
Maybe she thought she could save her game
