    Due to various issues with io24 presonus have now removed the stream mix feature on the io24. Please see my updated guide on how to setup the io24.

    Appreciate the video! I was having trouble trying to set mine up. Was getting tired of the eyesore of the GoXLR on my desk and this thing is a lot sleeker. Crazy what you can get for the money these days.

      Glad it helped just as an extra I'm going to cover in an extra video. I've been using the loop back one portion of the mixer for real time monitoring with OBS and Adobe audition so I can sample it with a couple of extra effects ontop added the lisp64 vst for some de-essing. All I do on the loop back one mixer is turn the mic volume down on that channel. Then set both audition and OBS output to loopback 1. Booom really time monitoring with some extra effects found buffer latency or either 32 or 64 works best. OBS is a little behind though but if you set an offset latency of -25 to 50 in OBS it gets pretty close to real time for your extra effects and filters 😁

      Don‘t you miss the more chanels a GoXLR has? In io24 you can control only 3 sources eg chat/discord, game and maybe music. No system sounds. I would like to see 4 or 6 chanels. I got mine yesterday and will compare it to my GoXLR mini, but I think there is no advantage specially in combination with touch portal. The loop back is their system of submixes? Oh and the routing table of GoXLR is superior.

    Thanks for the video! I am deciding between io24 (£175) and NI Komplete Audio 1 (£60) audio interface. Do you reckon io24 is worth it just for its software? It does seem to make everything more easier as its in one software as you say, compared to OBS and virtual cables etc. But wouldn't the end results be the same as you will still control the volumes through the screen?

    I'm confused, how do you control Universal Control on your pc via your iPad? I have the Revelator, iPad as well as use OBS. Thanks for the video, liked and subbed ✅
    Kind regards,

      Yeah it's serious value for the money. I had my eye on the goxlr for ages but only one mic input and no 6.35mm headphone jack and lack of headphone amp power where a real deal breaker for me even with all the other killer features the go XLR has. Honestly the universe has this strange thing of releasing the product I actually want, just after pairing up multiple items to do the task I needed 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️. So that's the dbx 286s, focusrite clarett and korg nano kontrol taking up loads of desk space, and no more stressing at what all the inputs outputs and midi settings are for voicemeter because I haven't used it in 3 months 🤣🤣🤣

    Can you create shortcuts in Stream Deck for Presonus Revelator to mute channels?

  • @petera6317

    Hey! Do you know if the Presonus Studio 24c has these features through the Universal Control as well? Such as EQ/Comp/Gate and the audio routing? Interested in the revelator, but the issues with the headphones seems worrying... so if the studio has the same features in UC, then it might be worth it..

    • @thefullsetup
      @thefullsetup  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I own the the 24c and I'm afraid it doesn't have any of the features you are afters. Presonus just sent me a non faulty io/24 and I will be uploading a video on it in the next few weeks.

    thank for guide, one question in this guide do you directly connect SM7B to io24 at 60dB gain without Triton Audio Fethead right?

    • @thefullsetup
      @thefullsetup  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes just went for the full 60db of gain from the io24 as the fethead isn't really required with this interface. You can use one if you want though.

    Hi there ty for this video, i got this device but i have trouble why my records show voice on right channel only no left and can i use 2 mics and switch between them separately ?

    • @thefullsetup
      @thefullsetup  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You need to record/ stream in mono to have your mic show on both channels. Yes you can use two mics and can set seperate gain levels but you cannot set individual fat channel effects when using both at once, I'd say the only issue with that is more eq if your using different mics.

      @@kvltst are you sure as a person who build and program computers. And been running 3 studios for 16 years. I see the difference. My U- phoria 202 HD can utilize my ram and memory. And use up to 8 gigs of it and I have 16 gigs. But the presonus io24 can only use 2048 which you do know or should that's 2 gigs. And processor is a avx ready which can run Maschine and it's plugins and kontakt with no problem. I even talked to presonus about the situation with a ticket. 3 days ago

      @@trackmusic252 Yes, I'm very sure, as someone who actually knows how USB Audio devices work. You're very confused.
      USB Audio Devices use a driver. This has nothing to do with how much memory it can use, which will be very very small in the first place.
      The control software app that comes with the IO24, likely won't use more than 250 MB of ram, IF THAT. I see mine using about 87MB in use, 13MB with no App control.
      Most of what you said is gibberish.
