Ive said it once and i'll say it again.. i dont think harbour freight deserves half the shit they get. Love too see that their trying to improve their stuff.
I work at HF we had a guy bring in a 212 predator that he had for less than 2 months, block was in 2 pieces, few mins later he walked out with a new motor
A quick comment on the tax benefit a company gets from making a charitable contribution. If Harbor Freight gives $1,000 worth (retail price) of tools to a high school, the company gets to deduct the LESSER of the value of the tools or Harbor Freight's cost for the tools. Let's say that the $1,000 worth of tools cost Harbor Freight $750, the company could deduct $750 from its taxable income. If Harbor Freight's income tax rate were 25%, the $750 deduction would save the company $187.50 in taxes ($750 x 25% = $187.50). The point being that company didn't 'profit' from its charitable contribution. That's not how the tax law works. Sure, as our handsome host said, the students (and their parents) might buy more tools from Harbor Freight than they otherwise would, but there is no way the tax savings comes close to making Harbor Freight whole for the cost of what it gave to the school.
I lived over in China for over ten years. Harbor Freight is selling the tools that the Chinese actually use in their own work, not the crap made for export. If you went into the Chinese hardware market the tools would look very familiar.
well ive never had a return they rejected. down side i always fl like have to buy 2 cuz my luck the first one wont work. like wasent finished when where making it. there hand tools eh there not any worse or better. the life time warrenty on them tho thats gold! managed to snap the head on a breaker bar and brought in the 2 peices and guy says ok go get a new one. the custermer service has been genraly really good.
Never had an issue with a return there. Even brought in a mechanic stool that I thought was under recall, turns out it wasn't, but they replaced it anyway.
😂. Tried to warranty an icon ratcheting wrench set because the Reverse/forward pawl lever on my 10mm broke while trying to switch it. They told me they wont warranty

Harbor freight and Princess Auto the Canadian sister company are amazing at taking things back. Only company that's even close is Costco.
I returned an angle grinder that was still smoking after i burnt out the motor. they took it and gave me a new one
Usually always a hassle free return/exchange with them.

They told me they wont warranty
That’s wild! They always have the most hassle free returns in my experience.
2:44, are we going to see a review on the ratchet?
I hope in the next couple of months. I just haven’t used it a lot.
That chainsaw sharpener looks fantastic!
It works good!
