A-10 Warthog - Props and Pistons Festival - August 2022 - Akron Fulton Airport

Video I recorded of the A-10 Warthog they had performing at the Props and Pistons Festival at the Akron Fulton Airport in Akron, OH in August of 2022. Shot on my iPhone 13 Pro Max at the time using a tripod. I kept needing to zoom in a lot and just couldn't just keep up with the speed of the aircraft. I also kept reaching the end of my pan and tilt angles on the tripod. It was a fairly cloudy and gloomy day, but the pilot made it fun to watch. I love the sound of the A-10. When it screams by overhead it's a sound you never forget!

It's usually around $20, but you can set up outside and watch for free. There are some grass strips and a few baseball fields that people park at. They've been having a C-17 Globemaster III the past few years that you're able to get into, and free plane rides. They usually also have a Robinson R44 helicopter that you can pay for rides on as well. One year they had a B-2 bomber fly over, and the Goodyear blimp. The Akron Children's Hospital Air Bear helicopter usually makes an appearance as well. A few years they didn't have the A-10s show up, but they're usually on display and performing aerial shows too. Lots of cool stuff!
