      It really was powerful and I'm grateful to be in my position. Lol and I've been almost exclusively resting outside of the hospital

    I can’t imagine what trauma is like in Chicago. Great work girl! Trauma is coming up for me in November.

      White Coat Chronicles Ahh girl it is beyond hectic. Like I cannot believe how much devastation some of my patients are going through. The month has been flying by somehow though, so I'm surviving lol

    You’re so inspirational. I live on the south side of Chicago and I’m in nursing school for lpn and I’d also to work in the emergency room like you. Do you have any tips for me or any advice you’d like to give me?

      Aww that's so kind of you. So happy to hear that you're pursuing the healthcare field. You are definitely needed. You're already doing the right things. Getting hands on experience is the most important and then finding local mentorship and pipeline programs for you to meet people in the places you're interested in working. Best of luck!
