I would love a Pep #22. No idea there was a Church copy. I know All-Star #8 and Pep #22 doesn’t have the first appearance Character on the cover, but it’s so magical organic. Reading golden age books with so many pages and characters, it’s awesome how some just lasted the test of time.
Yeah, the Church Pep 22 and Archie #1 sold as a pair for $100,000 a while back. They likely won't resurface, to be honest. I agree with the comment about reading GA. They're an entirely different experience.
These previews are really interesting and helpful to keep track of trends. On the Action 1, wonder why something like spine reinforcement is "restoration" but a scotch taped spine gets a universal grade.
