I've enjoyed all the episodes of Classical Breakdown since I discovered the podcast in the past couple of years. I especially appreciated this episode. During the podcast, Mr. Lawson talked about his experience recording Bruckner's 6th Symphony, but did not mention where where anyone could listen to it. Where is the NSO releasing all the concerts Mr. Lawson records? Is the NSO part of Idagio or other classical streaming services? I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of the NSO's Beethoven cycle and hope the NSO releases more recordings.

The recordings of the National Symphony Orchestra that I make are featured the first Wednesday of every month at 9pm ET on “NSO Showcase.” The program streams on demand, thereafter, for the rest of the month and you can find that link at WETA Classical’s website. The Bruckner 6 will be airing on May 1st (!) along with the Benjamin Britten Cello Symphony featuring the NSO’s Principal Cellist, David Hardy. I sincerely hope you enjoy both works thoroughly, and that you are only really aware of the quality of the performances and not drawn to anything about the recordings, themselves.
