God he was young back then..and so goddamn good at it! May he rest in peace. So few people know about Sentenced (I think so as a finn) but they get new fans all the time.. Pretty tragic if you think about it.
Senteced was laid to rest because the band saw that they had nothing more to give to the fans. They didn't want to become a band that just pushes out album after album for the masses to make money. They stopped their path together when they were at the top, you got to respect that. They didn't turn into whores without quality material.
I have to add some thing to that... I myself know these guys pretty well because my dad was their lightman, and one of the things why they bureid sentenced was that, the other guys cudn't take Laihiala's drinking no more.. and if you don't belive me, go to backstage half hour after some of Laihialas gigs and you will feel only sorry for him (been there done that :/ ).
Saw the behind the scenes videos of their "funeral tour", well Laihiala seemed a bit "over the top" most of the time. His antics were quite annoying, really. The other guys were quiet ones.

I have knew Lopakka almoust half of my life and whatI know, he is nothing compared to Ville.. And what comes to the others I can say that Kukkohovi haves no problem with alcohol, same with Vesa. But Tenkula and former vocalist Jarva, they have drinking problems. But that doesn't mean that the others doesn't drink.
