TAG Caving January 2011

Older video but one of my favorites. Includes Mystery Falls 262', Fantastic Pit 586', Wilkson Hollow Horror Hole, a multi drop with 4 pits. We did this trip in January 2011 when I was still very very green.

Great video!!!!! I wish we had pits like those up here in the northeast. How long does it take to ascend out of Fantastic pit????

Steve Skelly guess it depends on how good of shape you’re in. We were just there again a few weeks ago and I was up in just under 20 minutes.

Oh wow that's quicker than I thought! Still it must suck to be the last guy to climb out lol. Do you ever run a second rope to get in and out quicker?

Steve Skelly haha no we don’t but we climb tandem. Two at a time. The hike up the mountain is 1.2 Miles. 880’ gain. So it sucks pretty bad to hike with one 50 lb rope. Let alone a second. ;)
