Tbh I agree. The first one is like an overall introduction to the franchise, and then the sequel is an absolute chaotic movie that just does whatever the hell it wants. And the song fits better the chaotic feel of the sequel than the more mysterious vibe of the first.

I personally feel like Mega Madness fits Gremlins 2 better than the original (that’s just my opinion).
