      @@southernrelics Thanks! I hope so. It's still an unknown metal detector by the looks of it. No one has actually done a thorough breakdown of it or shown what all the accessories do. I have an external battery but I don't know if it is for doubling battery capacity to get more power to go deeper, if it charges the main module if those batteries go dead, or is just a backup for the module batteries so you can continue looking...

      @@kevinn3051 I agree. I wish I lived in Arizona and I’d be in the gold fields using it and making plenty of content for others to see what it does.

    Would you recommend the Gold finder 2000 or the Gold monster 1000??? Which one is better?

    • @southernrelics
      @southernrelics  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have used both, and I would use the Gold Finder before the gold monster. It is really accurate, and with the bigger coil (I have already been testing it) it goes deeper and can pick up some super small stuff. Very accurate regarding target identification (ferrous/non-ferrous).

    I thought the gold kruzer would have a learning curve but it’s actually really forgiving you can actually turn it on and go and find stuff with ease even without ground balancing (if your not in the static all metal mode) for instance if there’s to many target to get a proper ground grab I really like there specialty machines and I can’t wait for that all purpose multi it’s gonna be like Christmas for us

    • @southernrelics
      @southernrelics  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, Jake has the Gold Kruzer and he seems to like it. He hasn't used it much, but did find a silver dime with it already when we were in Georgia together back in July.

      @@southernrelics I have had a Gold Kruzer for a couple years now. We live in a gold producing area in North Eastern Ontario but it's pretty well all placer gold and hidden in the mineral. I have searched a lot of tailing piles but nothing. Ordered a couple pounds of pay dirt to help with our panning skills and to have good test pieces for the Kruzer, which of course picked up fine. There is also a ton of silver, nickel, cobalt (live near the town of Cobalt), and a multitude of other minerals. Silver I think comes up in the low 40's, cobalt around 35 and nickel in the 40's. I am not sure even if this is the way it is supposed to as I really don't find any good info on this unit when it comes to metals other than gold. Can you pint me in the right direction plz. Also bought a Pulsedive to use as a pinpointer, but to be honest my cheap no name one does a better job on mineral. Notka as hard to contact to get any answers. So I am kinda losing faith that I spent way too much and getting very little.

      @@ffsteve71 I can understand that. They do need help regarding customer service in the US. Let me work on getting you some info on the Kruzer for relics. I don’t use it. JAKE does, but he still doesn’t know much about it. Him being a truck driver he stays on the road and is unable to go digging like we used to go together.

    Thanks, they should definitely upgrade it to waterproof, not just water resistant. 👍

    • @southernrelics
      @southernrelics  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I could understand it being only water resistant. This type detector is made for those areas in the desert looking for flood gold in dried up creek beds. But thankfully I can still use it in shallow creeks too.

    • @houstonsheltonbees814
      @houstonsheltonbees814 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@southernrelics I understand that. But why not cover all of the market with waterproofing. That same Creek somewhere else will be full of water. Waterproof is what sold me on the Simplex. I have found one gold ring with it but it's not specific design for gold. Me personally wouldn't buy anything unless it was waterproof. Lose a favorite machine to water and you might feel the same way maybe not. Thanks man 👍
