We began at the Metro North station of Pleasantville NY, normally we start in lower Manhattan but wanted to get away from the rain. I use RidewithGPS to map my routes, it also allows me to use street view to make sure its a safe route and has a shoulder to ride on. Other times i just go out and scout new routes on my bike.
