The spire of flame is the Smash Bros logo, then the distant sparks are the little remaining flame, and finally Mario "bears this torch" and awaken the light of the lock bringing in Sora. That's really a good way to end this game ! Well except for showing us the trophies that remind us there are no trophies anymore but simple artworks instead haha
