I love this, thanks so much!! I've been pushing into my spin ever since i 'learned' how to do it.
I'm a beginner at salsa&bachata but i'm really working at it, even besides the 2x salsa and 2x bachata classes a week that i have. So i've been getting a lot of nice comments about my dancing and they can't believe that i'm dancing only for 2 months.
But it is only thanks to people like you and captain salsa aka Mek P. that i was able to get the required knowledge to progress faster.

oh well its not to difficult. Turns and spins are a matter of regular practice.
Go for it 2 times a week start by 1 you will see after a few weeks already a small result.
its not in our nature to spin so often so its hard practice but I guarantee it works. I grow my students until all of them are able to got for 3 to 4 spins.
A few are already working on 5-7 spins.....
      GOOD LUCK
      Kind regards

The best of the best ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd have just a question: I always have impression that the men spin better and more easily than ladies!!...when I look carefully it seems as if they use the point foot, as well as the heel and /or the whole foot, if necessary.....have you got please any suggestion for the ladies, as they have to spin on high heeled shoes??Thanks a lot in advance:-)

First of all sorry for my english. Its basic english but I hope you understand the point.
As far as I want to say its just practice.
Cause many ladies get drilled/and also love to get drilled by the men and never practice solo spins.
But its one of the most important technics to learn in dancing.
Yes its more difficult to go on high heels but start practicing with flat shoes the basic technic and step by step you start taking it over to your high heels.
Important is that you have a stable and high platform in your feet as a lady.
So I suggest to exercise your feet in case you are unstable cause this I can see often when i teach ladies that they shift to one side of the front foot in high heels.

Thanks for your comment and likes!
Hope to see you ones at any festival.

If you don't push with the outstretched foot then what is the point of extending the leg out to the side?
