When the eagles drafted him I was so hype!! He was one player I hope the eagles drafted because I loved him in college and I knew wentz was injury prone and that we needed a backup Incase wentz got injured. I felt like I was the only one excited that we drafted hurts while everyone else thought it was a wasted draft pick. I’m so glad we drafted hurts and that we not have a franchise qb who has already brought us to one Super Bowl and he will definitely bring us to many more
I can tell you from being a die hard Bama fan and watching him closely and all weekly interviews from recruiting days to now, this man don’t have winning a Super Bowl on his mind, he has winning 5-10 on his mind. He’s a workaholic from way back, a leader like no other, leads by example. No controversy, no drama, just business. He won’t ever lose a locker room like a Carson wentz, never be lazy like manziel or young. He will work his tail off day after day and harder than ever before the day after a championship.
Not just saying this because of his success these past 2 years, but genuinely, when he first played that season taking over for Wentz, even though it was a bad season, you could just see the difference between him and Wentz and it was a nice change of pace as a fan to get to watch his game evolve from that year to now. I hope he retires an Eagle as he's already cemented himself as my favorite Eagles QB. Just love seeing the dude ball out and getting all the flowers he deserves from his work ethic.
Im in Tuscaloosa and a Bama fan obviously. Ive had a lot to be thankful for over the last 20 years but JH is in my top 3 all time bama qb's. He has earned respect and Im thankful again to see him on Sunday. Cant wait to see him win his first super bowl. Fly Eagles Fly !!
