Funny thing is, I heard this track in the car with some pals the other week. And I instantly wanted to know who it was. Fell in love with the group, and have been working out and head banging in the car to Deftones. Awesome group.
That riff is brutal. I kinda scanned through the album after Rosemary due to my own laziness, but by some miracle this thing got to play through from the Rosemary ending to the beginning of this song and to the main riff and I was hooked. Just so simple, yet so destructive. Chino does a lot to sell the song from his off beat jabbering to his beautiful layered chorus. Deftones are the only band that has managed to grow with me from my teens to being a forty year old dude and I never feel like it’s immature or grasping at long gone youth. They have only become better with time.

Most underrated/underappreciated song by deftones, this would make for an epic closing song live.

This whole album is really good. Most of the tracks are just awesome, with nice atmospheric sections. Really post-metal at times.
