Fantastic job by our Bear River producer Tim Wilson. Well Lunenburg is pretty good material, I like to think Tim could work the same magic just about anywhere
We retired here 17 years ago and made friends with not just the people who lived here, but others from all over the world, from all walks of life, who had discovered this incredibly beautiful and cherished corner of the Maritimes. No malls, no box stores, nothing to detract from the lovely Victorian streetscape. No traffic jams, no air pollution.... and you can take a stroll any hour of the day or night and feel totally safe.
Lunenburg is AWESOME, its my heritage,my 5th GG Grandparents are one of the founding families of Lunenburg 1753 (Feder / Fehder). I am their 5th GG Grandson. LOVE IT.........YES, Its friendly, nice, summers are magnificent best place in the world........................YES
In Lunenburg this fall we found all the feel and love of an old Canadian settlement that cherishes its heritage but is able to fit the new within its context. I certainly hope the employment of youth will grow from the examples you give - design, niche manufacturing, services. Love you Bluenosers (from Edmonton where so many commute to the Mac) David
My German side of family Fehder / Feder etc immigrated to Lunenburg and one of the founding families of Lunenburg I love my history. Johann Heinrich Fehder (5th GG Grandfather) Helena Elizabetha Schlagentweit my 5th great grandmother, The Rev Paulus Daniel Bryzelius, my 5th great grandfather He was minister at St Johns Anglican Church Lunenburg and is buried underneath it. LOVE LUNENBURG So much of my family history STARTS THEIR. My Mothers side is WEIL, Wile again from Germany and coming to Nova Scotia, Lunenburg and moving all over. Lunenburg is steeped in history a MUST visit if your in Nova Scotia.
Very nice. Love Lunenberg, I remember going to Lunenberg to watch the lauching of the Bluenose II. Will it still be the Bluenose II after all the work that has been done to it? I have one of your hats Anna, love it!
I would seriously love to hear from people who reside in this place. My family and I are considering making the move from Ontario. My fiance and I are both music composers and producers. We have our own studio gear and would like to get a feel for chance we have in providing for our family.
i want to migrate to nova scotia with my family i live now in calgary but i do not know how to start and which part of nova scotia is suited with my family. is there any organization who will assist or help us to start??? ??? pls.
Problem with the area will never change , It's a cycle , young people graduate leave for the big city and leave old people behind who are on fixed income , Lunenburg's sole attraction is it's ship, Bleu Nose , which is never there ...
Sounds like you need to make another visit. There are positive things happening in Lunenburg, though it does face the hurdles that other rural areas in Canada face. There are younger families and middle age professionals moving to Lunenburg and places like Lunenburg, embracing the lifestyle it offers.
@@JourneymanVideoProduction My wife and I were just there 2 years ago, And blue nose , which was my reason to go, was in Cleveland LOL , Never again , thanks ..
Beautiful place 🤩. Love it!
It really is!

Great video, well done. More than 6,975 people should get to see this....

I've only been to Lunenburg once, but in my mind's eye, I've been many times over. Lovely place, lovely people.....

My grandfather, Mansford Wyles, used to keep a set of matched oxen. He used to make his own leather harness as well.
Awesome!
Glad you think so!
love it!
