I think what the defendant is saying is the service she asked for was staging. Anything after that, like sitting behind the booth and arranging lights occasionally, was not agreed 'work' that she actually contracted. Because if she wanted work, she wouldn't have done it by contracting it, she would have gone through with the protocol she mentioned.

@@lukerinderknecht2982I disagree. The plaintiff was trying to drag her job out more than what they initially agreed. The defendant tried to pay her so it's the plaintiff that comes out looking goofy.

They’re both insane. Something about the Plaintiff is off. Why would you refuse the package thinking she would “put something in it”? That sound paranoid and delusional. Maybe she refused the original check too, and that’s why it wasn’t delivered. Something isn’t going to the top floor for her. The Plaintiff seems a bit deranged. The Defendant also needs to learn how to run her business: sign contracts even for freelancers, agree to a payment before contracting anybody, and follow the contract. You can’t change the amount of a payment just because you’re mad. These two need to find something else to do with their time beside play games.

I'm not paying someone to do work I never agreed for them to do. Sounds like she should've only been paid for the staging they agreed to, and it's nonsensical that neither of them thought it was worth putting in writing what they agreed to.
Plaintiff is a weirdo and I believe 100% inserted herself into the business of that day. Those farmers markets don’t make much money so it wouldn’t make sense to offer to pay someone to hang around when u already have 3 other people working. Defendant didn’t set boundaries and should have sent that lady about her business. Judge was being a real b… to the defendant for no reason and would not let her speak to explain herself. She can be extremely rude and unfair at times. Judge picks and chooses when she wants to enforce unconfirmed contracts and agreements.
The judge is biased against blacks and that is in every court system but the defendant screwed herself with showing a check made out for 210 even if it was extortion. What the defendant should have said, is brought the proof that she had three people at the event working and then ask what purpose would it serve hiring someone who was there to do staging as one of her crew at an event that is not super busy and someone without proper knowledge of the product who was again there for providing staging. She is a swindler ie a hustler and jack of whatever trade and that is how the defendant should have described her. She should have made it clear that at what point do some random woman approach her about staging then it goes from her doing a staging to becoming someone who is working in the business which is bongos ... I have seen this is other places where people show up to do a specific job then volunteer to do something else they see, then after they finish want to be paid for what they volunteered to do claiming they were being nice
Plaintiff said envelope with check was right address but she never received it. My guess is that it was delivered to wrong address and sent back and post office never tried to redeliver it.
@billmoran3219 ive wored in billing and what happened with that check happens a lot. If she didn't hire the plaintiff to work the booth b/c she's not an employee, but she took it upon herself to work the booth anyway, then she just volunteered... I'm not paying someone to do work I never agreed for them to do. Sounds like she should've only been paid for the staging they agreed to, and it's nonsensical that neither of them thought it was worth putting in writing what they agreed to.
She knew how to refuse the box but didn't refuse the original mailed check...right
They’re both a mess.
Doug=Str8 Savage😂😂😂
The defendant is a crook. The only way a compan's payroll shuts down is when the company goes out of business.
But why do I want to try that Thai dressing now? 😂
The way the judge asked "did you bring some?" That's a mood, lol! 😂
wow just wow!! What a peice of work!
Why does she always ask a question then doesn't want the answer🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
When she asks a direct question and you see you're going to get an excuse instead of a definite yes/no/direct answer she'll stop you from talking...
Sometimes Doug is a Richard.
By the look on her face I don’t believe the defendant ever expected the judge to open the mail and catch her in her lie about the $100.😂
Plaintiff is a weirdo and I believe 100% inserted herself into the business of that day.
It really grinds my gears when JM doesn't let people talk. Like stfu and let them tell their side of the story..sheesh!!!
Lol ouch. I'll let her know. If she let me talk. 😅😂😂🎉
I usually agree with that but this case I was yelling at the defendant “girl answer the question!!! Why you ain’t pay her?!!!” 😂

Wonder if the box was the same address as the first envelope. Why JM didn’t look for that?
Plaintiff said envelope with check was right address but she never received it. My guess is that it was delivered to wrong address and sent back and post office never tried to redeliver it.
@billmoran3219 ive wored in billing and what happened with that check happens a lot. Some of these mail carries are lazy and if they are substituting for another route they will just mark the mail undeliverable. It sad actually. I once had a bill returned marked undeliverable that was addressed to the post office itself because they had our services.
I have the feeling the plaintiff does this often. She probably wanders around flea markets and attaches herself to vendors. A certifiable mental case.
These two did no contracts but want to run a business lol 😂
😂😂😂 not him calling her stupid
I don't blame the plaintiff for not accepting box. She's right. I wouldn't have trusted the defendant either. Just send the check. Excuse by defendant, She's not an employee". No 💩 Sherlock, plaintiff never claimed to be😠
I agree, box could have contained a bag of exploding 💩
😂😂😂 That is hilarious he actually brought her stupid
They both crazy as h3ll 😵💫!
For sure!
Doug read my mind 😂😂😂😂
If she sent a check for less than what is owed. You won't have a leg to stand on. So no don't accept the lesser amount.
The plaintiff is an opportunist and the defendant needs to make things very plain . I don’t play games with people , literally send a text to confirm stuff a forehand . Maybe it’s because I’m a graduate in law , or maybe it’s because I have Anxiety. Either way I just operate differently ❤
