Floor is something else. She is the Dutch Queen of symphonic metal. You understood the meaning of the lyrics perfectly. One of Tuomas' favorite compositions to write about the lose of innocence.

Windmill. Early in her career Floor was having neck problems due to headbanging. She consulted a physiotherapist and they established that the safest form of headbanging was the Windmill. You will notice that she always braces her hands on her thighs and uses her shoulders to assist in the movement so its not all neck movement. Normal back and forth headbanging is similar to the whiplash you get in a car accident. Also start slowly and build up your neck muscles.

Excellent reaction - some reactors concentrate on analysing vocal techniques, some on the skills of the musicians, but you're the only one I've watched who gives their main concentration to listening to the message - and that, after all, is what all the artistry and skill and technique is aiming to do - to deliver that message. Nightwish songs are far more meaningful than the songs of most artists, and cover a wider range of subjects and human experiences - I'm really glad to find a reaction channel that gets that.

And of course, our 6'1" Valkyrie Goddess, Floor, absolutely killing it on her vocals and with her unbelievable stage presence. One bit of helpful trivia, when Nightwish released the original DVD video and High-Definition Blu-ray video disks, there was an error on the Blu-ray version. Although this has no effect on the audio track, it causes the singers lips to be slightly out of sync with the audio. Since I've known the band (10 years now) I've been trying to describe them appropriately - I still haven't succeeded. There are simply no words that can make this possible. There are dozens of world-class bands - but there is only one Nightwish!
