Pretty bummed as well with the rumors of the Pixel Fold 2 changes. Not sure why they need to ruin the perfect passport size of the Fold.

Don't do it. Your data will be wiped. But you can back it up before the wipe tho. But everything that's happening to your Fold isn't normal behavior so it's definitely a bug or something that a factor reset might fix.

Apple is having cell/wifi/Bluetooth issues too, and worse than the pixels even so I don't think it's a huge issue with pixels, I've had the 6,7,7pro, and now 8 pro. Little to no issues.
My iPhone has been pretty solid. Might be a carrier thing. Not sure. Well at the job. I don't get good signal inside the building so yeah there's truth to that

I'm currently on a Pixel 6 Pro but I want to try a foldable for my next phone which hopefully will be the Pixel Fold 2 whenever it comes out. Hopefully like you mentioned the next Fold will have top level specs concerning the camera. For the price of admission that should be mandatory.

As both a zfold and pixelfold user, the pixelfold is a great first Gen device. While multitasking is better on the zfold, the pixelfold is still a great foldable.

How's the app being displayed on the inner folding screen now? Early reviews said a lot of apps are not optimised to take advantage of the bigger folding screen so they can't go full screen.
Should I buy a pixel fold now I see eBay has it for $799 used but in mint condition or should I get a pixel 8 Pro currently on using a Pixel 7 ? What's your opinion?
Oh gosh what a hard choice. I'll say if you value having the best camera go P8P. If you really want to try a Foldable absolutely yes go with the Fold for that price.
@@DalevonDigital well the durability was way worse when Jerry rig tested it vs the z fold. Also the huge inside bezels of the Pixel fold looked ridiculous.
I have the S24 now. The only feature I miss about the any Pixel is the camera. A Pixel always took clear motion pictures for me, that is important because I have small children.

Yes love mine running Android 14 beta QR3 with AI wallpapers and so other new features. Had mine since launch works very well software is the smooth.

Pixel Fold always seemed like a maybe 1000 phone at most it felt kinda cheap kinda unrefined. Was way overpriced.
I feel like it’s maybe $1399. Definitely doesn’t feel cheap it’s very premium feeling.
