Sat third row from the very front during the performance. Such a powerful piece. Almost lost hearing but well worth it. Reminds me of my days as a euph in the all state band :)
From a pianist who once played euphonium. This is one of my favorite pieces of all time and I would give anything to play it. It looks so fun. Keep up the good work
Holy smokes dude sounding good! I'm playing Euph 1 too with my school band and it's a doozy. Seems as though my chops are always dead after every rehearsal. Oh well XD! My bands pre festival concert is actually tomorrow and I can't wait to show off how far my band has come on this piece :)
Just the range staying in tune… but since I had an amazing section it was very easy to stay in tune ! crazy the whole section sounded like one player only!
@@theeuphoniumguy3989 that's super cool. My band hasn't played this piece, but I've attempted the xylophone part from the score I found online... and I'm not confident that this piece would be a food fit for my band due to its difficult lol

Yes that was me too 😭😂
Great video man, fellow Euphonium :)
Those high notes would kill me 😭
I play tuba for jazz and honestly I was thinking to switching to Euphonium. Do you think I should do it?
You go and try it out!! It’s awesome you let me know how it goes!!!!
I have never played a brass instrument, so I'm kinda curious - what was the most difficult part for you?
