In this video I compare the Bang&Olufsen Beosound Explore with the Bang&Olufsen Beosound A1 (2nd Generation).
B&O Explore plays with neutral settings and 60% volume.
B&O A1 (2nd Gen)plays with neutral settings and 50% volume (to match the volume of the Explore).
The beautiful feature of this speaker is that the sound is prolonged at the last power and no distortion occurs
The Explorer EQ can be adjusted from the B&O app to make it sound better, as other videos have pointed out. I guess it wasn’t adjusted for this test?
The explore is just sad.

Adjust the equalizer in the app and the explore sounds good and close to the a1

The spread of sound in Beosound Explore is better than I heard them in a shop
Explore is sounding really bad, EXTREMELY overpriced, A1 is nice.

perhaps cuz it designed for outdoor experience, trust me ur gonna miss out much of the detail in outdoor environment
Explore is ordinary speaker but a1 is very high level. My idea a1 is best speaker in that category. In the other hands I am very disappointed about b&o. Because the explore is very average just shaming.
Thé explore is made out of tougher materials and is more waterproof and shock resistant, also it is made from metal (as opposed to some competitors in that price point) as well as it having 27h playback time. I don’t know where you see the average and shaming
I don’t know what these guys are talking about in the comment section. The explore sounds great outside! Especially on the job site when you’re in multiple places throughout the day. Just place it in the middle and you’re good wherever you go. I’m happy with it!

It stands for Bang og Olufsen and they are a company from Denmark that makes very good quality speakers
