Cueva Del Viento/ Wind Cave

We have gone to the Cueva del Viento twice in the last few weeks.
The first time we took all the kids. Most recently we took our littlest (Vivian- age 4) and her grandparents. It's a 1.35 mile hike each way- so 2.7 miles round trip. The visitor's center has maps, but there are also signs along the way.
The sounds and smells along the path are wonderful. The roads getting there are very narrow (even for Puerto Rico!).
It rained on us the second hike back- not a big deal, just be prepared for the possibility.
There was hurricane damage that blocked some trails, but the cave trail at least has been cleared.
If you go, take a flashlight for everyone in the party- it's more fun that way.
