Great hack as these ingredients will provide potassium and calcium good for flowering. As far as vitamins from egg shells being available for absorption --- does it make a difference in how fine they are gound up? I dry out my egg shells and then grind them up finely I heard if you don't grind them they are not available for months but thought if ground up the finer powder is available within a couple weeks.

Given that plants absorb nutrients either soluble in water or if the size of particles are very less it can still be sucked in by roots. Thus I powder it for plants to take it in easy and then break it down internally. Even for decomposition it is an advantage to have powdered form as it only gives microbes more surface area to decompose. I hope this explanation helps although I am still trying to learn more each day. PS: pardon my English - I am not a native speaker
