I have made biscuits and busting open, soak in scrambled eggs and make my childhood breakfast this morning August 3 7 in the am egg biscuits, I fry golden brown and finish in the oven, maple syrup. Great recipes as always. Thank you! FYI, being Cornish, we would place our meat on top of the pasty veg so the juices would dribble through the veg whilst cooking.
Thank you for all the recipes. I have made quite a few of them, a favourite being the steak dianne casserole and some of the other sauces you make. When making sausage rolls I find it easier to cut the raw pastry with a pizza cutter, rather than a knife, and often season the inside of the pastry with a little salt and black pepper.
Fabulous stuff Nicky! I didn't make jam this year or last because of Covid. I'm hoping that if I make cheesecake in little jars now folk will be more willing to accept them. Thanks for your effort xx
Do you think it would work adding either some cheese or a thin smear of a chutney/pickle to the sausage rolls? I don’t want to end up with a soggy bottom 😉
I made the sausage rolls for my boyfriend at the time, when we were going on a zoo date. Now he is my husband of 1 year and I am making them again 😂 for a second zoo date
