      Thank you! I made sure to add so that everyone will know there are different cosmetologist that do different things to get to the same result. What stays the same is using the boar bristle or ceramic round brush to get the blowout effect 💙

    Kree doesn't want to deal with our trifling selves .😅 That's why she doesn't want to get back in to doing hair.😁

    🌟 Great job! I would prefer the volume as my hair is fine and I think curls suit me better. I'd leave out the roundbrushing as I just can't get to grips with holding a blowdryer and round brush. In time, I'm going to get a mannequin, though, to acquire skills, and it looks therapeutic. Happy New Year! 🌟

    In Philly, everyone goes to the Dominican shops, but down here in ATL. I started to hear the old, "they sneak perms in the conditioner" rumor. Last time I went I thought I had heat damage due to my curls not reverting. But now I just know that I haven't put heat in my hair like that in Years. It didn't fall out though but I was scared but going back thanks to you and Cyn doing that live. I'm so appreciative cause I thought they damaged hair.

      One thing you have to ask yourself is who told you it's heat damage ? Did a cosmetologist tell you that, or did "team natural" tell you that? Dominican salons are the best for a lot of reasons. People who make up rumors about relaxer in shampoo are jealous that they can't get their hair straight and they don't know the technique. Thank you for confirming that it's not unheard of to frequent Domincan salons ❤️😊

    I have no fear of using heat on my hair. I just want to do it correctly. I’m still new to this. I think my issue is like hand coordination. Practicing on a mannequin and then doing it on myself is so different to me. I can do it on my brothers hair no problem (he allows me to use him as a test dummy hehe)but when it comes to myself I’m like ☹️ I think once I master the paddle brush then I’ll get a roundbrush. wheeww lawd 😂
    I really like how flat you got the roots. I paid attention to the direction of the rollersets but I think I need a couple more watches to really get it down. I’ve never done rollersets before but I’m doing them on my next wash day I’ll let you know how it turns out!

    So good and informative, girl! These are all important questions I’ve asked myself, too. I got a Dominican blowout when I lived in ATL and it was so good and lasted me so long, but I didn’t have the discipline to keep it up so that was my fault lol. I like the music choice, too!

    The direction of the rollers is very interesting.

      Yes, it's to lay down the roots instead of having volume on the roots they will be smooth, and it will be easy to round brush

    Is there a notable difference in the hair from using a boar bristle round brush versus a ceramic roundbrush?
    I'm practicing my round brush technique on my manniquin and am curious to know your opinion.
    Thank you for this content because I definitely want to learn how to do this on myself. My hair is broken off and has a bunch of different lengths. I am learning how to care for it properly by watching you and Cyndoll.

      So the boar bristle brush helps to smooth the hair, but it's a certain direction you have to do it. Just keep practicing and watch other dominican blowout videos as well. Like this one

    Can you apply the serum to wet hair? or wait until it dry and then use serum?

    • @Cherel90
      @Cherel90  23 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      So every serum is different. Just read the instructions and follow to the "T"
