- Ohmygosh I am extremely sorry for the fail parts (especially Flare I am shameful) but I had to try recording already before school kills me in the next few weeks.
Thank you to the people who helped with the recording of this (it took forever). I will do this again over the summer or when I have free time (unlikely).
Also sorry that I play too fast owo I keep doing that gah alsakhlskahs. And that the camera angle is bad (I doubt anyone would stand for over ten minutes haha).

Hey, arranger of the sheet music here, just found your video and wanted to stop by and say that this is amazing work and I am very thoroughly impressed! I'll be honest when I arrange sheet music, I can never play it, and I'm never sure if it is actually playable. Cascade was one of my main worries, but you have proved that this is actually playable, and you played it marvelously! I applaud you! This is incredibly amazing, and it's nice to hear my arrangement played on an actual piano, it's so insane! This is truly amazing! Major props to you :P

Honestly this is absolutely mind-blowing. I know you made a few mistakes but??? Seriously, this is incredible. You can play so fast, and on both hands, and you memorized the whole 11 minutes. You hit pretty much all the noted despite it bring awkward to do in some places and it really was beautiful. I'm glad I found this.

When I heard the end of this, I very nearly stood up and started clapping, and I only stopped because my laptop was in the way. This is beautiful in writing and execution, slightly more so in this regard. To you, our dear artist, I thank you for taking the time to learn this piece and then recording it for our ears to rejoice to.

Actually, for once, I didn't mind the failed parts, to be fair though, I don't actually care for the parts that you failed at, since you got the whole thing in one go.
Sometimes your fingers move too fast. This muddles the sound and prevents all of the notes from being heard. Try playing the piece with a metronome to keep you at a easygoing, slow tempo. That way your nerves won't get to your fingers and muddle the sound. c: congrats on remembering the entire piece and playing it near flawlessly.

It's been years since I first watched this video and every now and then I come back to watch it again. My sister is learning to play Cascade on the piano partially because of this video. You're a fantastic player and I'm absolutely stunned every time by how well you play this.

I've been trying to learn this for about a year now. I still don't know how you hit those low octaves on the Flare part every single time. I can only hit them like 70% of the time. And when you get to the dyads? (two note chord, whatever the name is) in the right hand, you're still playing so fast! I'm getting closer but this is still blowing me away as a pianist with like 10 years of hobby experience.

I think you forget that cascade is a combination of many songs. Learning cascade requires you to learn different songs, so really. Why ask? Cascade is amazing and sounds wonderful on piano :y
