I think stages and knowing when a scheduled yellow pitstop is coming is adding to the fuel strategy problems at super speedways. Also agree too much data sharing has equalized the field too much.

Yeah, true. Maybe they need to bring back bonus points for leading the most laps as well

Congrats on the Reddick win!! I was genuinely happy for him and watching his son with MJ was fricking sick. Beau is going to be able look back on that forever. If I could give checkers it would hands down be to Reddick not because he won but because of his celebration. That was the most pumped I’ve seen anyone this year. And I love that he climbed the fence as high as he did.
I don’t know if you guys picked up on it but in a few of the cautions the booth totally jinxed the guys involved. They were all talking up the Toyota fuel strategy and then calamity ensued. Then another one was when BJ Mcclod was leading. They were all talking about he’s a here on his own dollar and now he’s leading laps and then he hit the wall and was out of fuel or something😂.
All time Daytona Ron rant!!! I too am tired of changing my expectations. What’s it going to take for NASCAR to fix this car!?! The all star format just came out and it looks like they are giving teams tire options. I’d love to hear your guys thoughts on that next week. I like the idea of it as long as it creates a bunch of different strategies/fall off, but with that said is nascar turning into F1 if this ends up working well?
And Daytona Ron I just saw the news about Heim filling in for Jones. Sorry to hear that. Hopefully it doesn’t spoil next Dover for you.

Thatnks Charlie, it was a great celebration for sure. I noticed the same about the booth this week, they kept getting the names wrong, I heard Mike Joy call someone something weird, I cant remember for sure but I think he called William Byron William Bell

53:17 I know they had 70 something lead changes but that's only because nobody wanted to lead so they could save fuel so you watching and seeing these lead changes but they don't mean shit. I agree ya. Why didn't a few teams decide we aren't saving fuel and then that would have made more guys have to not save fuel to keep up. I don't know why there wasn't any of that? Maybe no stage cautions, maybe they need bonus points for leading a lap and the most laps again too. I'm with you all. I have been liking the 1.5 miles but everywhere else is just eeegh. I'm getting to the point that I'm hating this cat as well. I like the way it looks but dam, the only good thing is 1.5 mile tracks and how long before that gets bad when teams figure more stuff out on the car, the 1.5s could get worse. That was a frustrating race and the dam commercials, 7 laps commercial, 8 more laps commercial, I mean they went to commercial with 7 laps left in stage 2, wtf is that lol. Eric Jones crash had me worried a minute when his window net was still up. Such a hard hit and bad angle. It reminded me of Dale Sr crash as well. I know they trying to win but that double block all the way to the wall and then come down 70 ft to the bottom and block again you know it's gonna be a crash, block once, if that don't work just try and side draft. I know McDowell owned up to it but that shit pisses me off lol. Good to see Reddick get one and Micheal Jordon was happy as hell. Congrats
