- We stayed at a coffee farm in Tanzania and learnt how to grow coffee beans from the ground as seedlings, then on trees in a nursery and then out on the soil as larger coffee bean trees. We also got lost and were rescued by a stranger in Arusha.

I knew that coffee grows from trees and the different coffees since high school but I understand that others may not know because we all learn everyday. Can we all just take a few moments to appreciate how kids have golden hearts? They know no racism, tribalism, xenophobia, etc in their hearts it is so uplifting...if only we, adults, can be like them. And yes, God protects by His grace. I love this African road trip journey contents a lot and the feeling of safety that we don't always get in SA even if those countries aren't as rich as SA.

As one travels across the world, you should be able to learn new things. Regarding the toilet, you just need to ask so you add to your repertoire of learning. In Japan, I discovered a different type of toilet which I figured out how to use. We should never think that our home country is the only standard. Let's keep on learning!!!!

I once took a bus from Dar es salaam to Nairobi..so that bus rank looks so familiar.. and like you i decided to buy chips..did i not get sick when i arrived in Nairobi😳🤢🤮 meanwhile my friends had packed lunch for me for the trip and they were like but we told you don't buy on the way..so i was nervous to see you buying chips🤭
