“ACT I” is Tarja’s first solo live audio and video product in her rock outfit. The main content was filmed and recorded on two show nights this March 2012 in Rosario, Argentina, at the Teatro El Círculo. The video products include plenty of extras - video and photo material.
With the elaborate track listing and its extras, “ACT I” provides the full-fledged bill of fare to either Tarja fan. The track listing consists of Tarja’s greatest solo tracks, Nightwish classics as well as some cover versions, such as Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘The Phantom Of The Opera’ and marvellous Gary Moore’s ‘Over The Hills and Far Away’ - or to make it short: a unique blend of music selection. The set up of these HD filmed concerts meant an incredible extra work and effort in the live production - with an impressive result, but also an emotional rollercoaster-ride. Says Turunen: “Those two nights in Rosario were a huge emotional drive to me personally.” The artist herself admits, she “was many times ready to burst into tears.”

Floor definitely has more flexibility in her vocals. She can sing operatic, hard rock, and even Disney tunes with absolute perfection. She could probably sing this comment and make it sound like a hit. In many ways, she's the better singer. Just look at how she totally killed it at the end of Ghost Love Score.
But then you watch something like this. Just look at Tarja's smile and dancing at 0:57. Notice how she gets the audience involved at 2:00. Just see how she moves all over the stage and interacts with the rest of the band, as if they're friends, not coworkers. She seems so happy and is having so much fun. Singing isn't a job for her; it's a passion. That is something that affects the audience in a positive way. I've seen both Nightwish and Tarja live a few years ago. Tarja's show was much more entertaining and fun because her personality put the crowd into a great mood. It reminded me of the good times I had pulling out the blues harp and jamming with my friends when I was a kid. The only difference is that they actually sound good.
So, Floor may technically be the better singer, but Tarja is by far the better performer. That's why she's my favorite vocalist. And I don't mean my favorite Nightwish vocalist. I mean my favorite vocalist of all time across all genres. She is the most fun to watch, and that's what entertainment is all about.
