yep but as soon as they touch you that is assault and battery , they like to think they have power , but really they have the same power as any joe public .Ryan , pushing him was self defense , as he was unlawfully detained. its a civil matter so police would be acting out of remit if they attended and acted on it. trespass is not a criminal offence.

Private does not mean that they don’t allow customers to come in, it just means that it is privately owned by a company. Which means they can ask you to leave for whatever reason because they own the building. It’s like your house, it’s yours, it’s private but you can allow guests in. But if you want someone to leave your house, then they must leave.
