The contact at 0:26 from Mina to Lia was unintentional. Her aim was above her head but because they were so close it accidentally hit Lia (also I think he didn't see that one) They are not allowed to touch each other during that time but they usually have faceoffs where they get in each other's faces and stop within a cm of each other. It's a form of intimidation and ruining the rhythm of the one dancing, but Lia's was intentional when she slightly pushed Mina when she was already backing up. When things escalated, and there's intentional touching that's when he stepped in.
I dont understand how Mina win. She was rude, interruption is different with battle provocation and what she did literally interrupt Lia's battle thus taken as well her time. It should have been rematch. The only thing that Mina could show her move was because Lia was respectful over her battle.
Oh plzzz stop being ridiculous , Mina myong also did her best and won the match and this show is judged by their dance not from seeing who interrupted whom
To commoners, Honey J and Rihey weren't really popular, but their iconic battle drew us in into wanting to know them more bcs they both showcased top notch skills on top of their drama. This battle between Lia vs Mina was extremely underwhelming despite the fame that they both already have. Such a waste of momentum.
honestly, as angry as rihey was at honey j, she didn't try to make physical contact with honey j. she even "scolded" yell when trying to make physical contact with zsun
I def think they both should've faced repercussions for their unprofessionalness during that battle. Like when Lia was dancing they were so angry with each other that they were fighting more than they were dancing. I think it was a bit unfair that by the time Mina danced, they calmed down alreadly. But at the same time Lia is obviously a gifted dancer but her dancing didn't have alot of impact like she was more focused on showing people that she can do moves rather than listening to the music and connecting with it. It was just embarrassing asf battle like they both should've reigned it in because dancing is the part that matters, not who gets to throw the first punch or kick lmao
Nah the ppl who were there when Mina left 1M and no one said anything about the drama are very much intersted in the truth😂 but yeah the battle suffered bc of it
I feel sad that Lia can’t catch up with memorising her choreography in the dance challenge in episode 3 as she’s the leader.. maybe she’s of older age but she seem like a nice lady to her crew members
Lia Kim has ADHD. So that’s why she needs time to memorize her moves. She revealed that she slowly memorizing dance moves or sometimes she can’t memorize her own choreography. I feel so bad bc people judge her that she lazy cause evil editing from mnet. I hope people understand her and please be kind to this ladyㅠㅡㅠ
Lia let her dance and didn't interrupt her but mina just kept dancing on her face like how is she supposed to do like it's her time and mina should back up until her turn comes in there is a huge difference between provoking the opponent by doing some kind of dance in his time or approaching them but being that close and doing that all in their faces is just disrespectful
From what I understand, it has to do over credit. Mina felt that Lia sometimes took credit for choreo that she didn't create because she was the co-owner of 1Million (Mina is a founding member but not an owner). Sunmi's Gashina choreo was the straw that broke the camel's back. I also suspect it has to do with money. Now they did finally patch things up at the end when Mina's crew got eliminated. I will say there's a reason why a number of original choreographers have left 1Million over the years.@@1t1s.what.1t1s
Mina Myung is one of the founding members of 1Million (and a well-known choreographer). She and Lia were very close but had a huge falling out (although it was patched up at the end.)
she keeps on interrupting others when it’s not her turn.. i’m all for trying to provoke the opponent to hype everything up but it would’ve been good if it’s not this disrespectful.. this is the n’th time im watching Mina battle im noticing it’s all attitude & opening drama but the techniques & style variety is always like this..
Tbh i like both of them all their choreography. But all the shows i watched mnet hahahaa this all drama they need to get the show famous lol. Its like the first season with the two dancer hahaha
Of all the korean groups in this competition 1Million is holding the most famous and Lia Kim is known for being a top choreography, but this is the most boring dance battle ever in SWF. Lia Kim is a mess
I don’t wanna keep assuming there’s a beef going on between Lia Kim and Mina Myoung behind cameras or maybe in real life but I know for now that it’s always Mnet’s evil editing again for views
Eh this is one of the times when I'd say there might've actually been something between them, though probably not as bad as Mnet makes it out to be. I mean accusing one of the founders and top choreographers of what is perhaps the most famous dance studio in Korea of stealing credit for a famous choreo is pretty serious. Highly doubt it was something that Mina would actually do just for viewership if they were truly still friends, and it's not like Mnet could edit her to say words she never actually said either.
1million dance, the dancers and choreographers are lit, but its sad for me watching my fav choreographer minny park apart from 1mil, so I'll just choose BADA LEE instead:)
During the show they explained that they ended on bad terms when Mina left 1 million. I used to love them dancing together at 1 million but Mina left after they refused to give her a raise after she had been overworking herself constantly apparently.
Mina won, but honestly neither deserved the win. Both let their emotions get in the way - they were more interested in their feud rather than the dance in that round.
In the case of the Mina vs. Lia feud, the friction is because, according to Mina, that Lia took credit for choreography that her dancers created. I think it was especially Sunmi's Gashina (which Mina created but Lia took credit for ) that kind of pushed the feud. They haven't said but I also suspect money is a part (Lia is a co-owner so she gets a bigger share, something that I think bugged the choreographers such as Mina, who is a founding member.) I will say they finally patched things up at the end when Mina's crew got elminated (episode 5 I think). I'm sure creative control is also an issue (which is why almost none of the original choreographers are at 1Million.)
Idk what really goes behind the scenes between these two but if this is how Mina acts in real life, I'm really disappointed. I used to look at her with admiration but now I can't believe I came to despise her. Ugly character she has...
In Mina's time Lia Kim keeps her pace calm, proves that she's a professional and knows how to battle dancers in professional respectful way
I wonder Why Kang Daniel doesn't stop Mina who interrupting LiaKim's dance but keep saying don't touch when Liakim push to make some space
the match is like that so
@@FreddyJeong omg you know whatt mina hand didn’t even touch lia’s head, pls watch the whole episode bruh

It’t not physically touch so
Most likely because 1. It’s scripted, and 2. It’s not like he’s a ref, he’s just an emcee 😂
I really lost respect for mina when she started dancing in Lia's time. This is just wrong and someone should have called her out at that moment.
