you can actually learn what stuff the emissary (the gman in the cutscenes) spawns in, the intervention perk only shows the "stress bucket" that determines whether or not the emissary helps you or tries to kill you (aggressive playstyles means good stuff, careful playstyles means bad stuff) [also higher bars in the bucket mean bad, lower bars mean good] not fully complete or accurate but heres what he can spawn good stuff: -mini ammo, printer or healing stations -less npcs -less hostile npcs (includes less chances for stabbers I think) -less chances for doors to be locked -nerfed enemy guns (ak downgraded to rifle) bad stuff: -more npcs -more hostile npcs -a guaranteed civ to be stabber (stacks) -more traps -more locked doors -more runners -upgraded guns (more aks) -more armoured hostiles -a guy who runs through a door no matter what (you can just avoid being spotted by them) on exp farming the bad stuff can be sometimes good because more locked doors, npcs and traps means more exp but I mean I hate the 50 hostiles who have aks jumping me so it's a double edged sword overall

Actually regarding multiple enemies, one method i found to deal with them is to peak from the door, so for instance once you are entering a room. 4 enemies are there, 1 civ, 3 armed hostiles. You try to intimidate all of them. The civ and 2 hostiles gets hostaged but the other armed resists and starts shooting. Remember, you are still peaking, assuming that you had your gun on him, and he is not armoured, you should be able to take him down in one shot. However, if not, stop peaking and wait for the enemy to stop shooting, aka hide behind wall. Then peak back and pre fire on the enemy. In this instance, if the other remaining npc in the room has still remained still, it should be safe to move in but just in case, keep peaking and tell them to lay on the ground if you haven't already. Obviously, if stabber or enemy stands up you should shoot them. I always recommend aiming for the easiest to kill, aka unarmoured or civilians. Civ because they could be runners or worse stabbers, though armed can also be stabbers, they are more likely to shoot than to stab. Anyhow, in an unfortunate instance that all 3 npc starts to stand up. Aim for the head for easiest to kill, you want to reduce the number of possible hostiles NPC. If possible, eliminate them all in one swoop. If not, simply hide back in the wall, wait for them to start coming towards you and pre-fire them. This all works under the key concept that armed enemies only shoot when you are in their line of sight. So get out of it to reset their firing temporarily,(wait for them to start moving towards you. You will still have a small window to shoot so if they are armoured, you are gonna take a beating but this is way more favorable than compared to standing inside the room with all of them shooting from different directions.

@@HR-Commander That works too unless there's a visor but those are not that common. Anyhow, this strategy is for those trying to do this solo since you basically have to minimize risk of getting shot.
Quickthrow is useful. It's great because the bang essentially travels to wherever your laser is aimed at, meaning it is WAY easier to throw them through small openings in doors without notifying enemies. It's also quicker, hence the name
Some tips from me: 1. NEVER rush into a room right as you open the door and always wait until you secure all/most npcs in the room before entering. 2. XP grinding is not as hard as you think, my recommended loadout would be hardkill (perk required), leeman, 2x zipties, 1x health pen, and 1x plate, other gadgets optional. 3. Learn the map layouts and npc behavior. Currently, npcs are only considered hostile if they either try to shoot you with a gun or try and stab you with a knife. 4. Each weapon is different, try each one to get a feel for how the gun works, you can find a weapon for you by doing this. 5. Playing with teammates is fun and helps with grinding (ignoring the solo bonus). Playing with a teammate allows you to have someone watching your back and potentially save you in case you are downed. That’s all from me I guess. Hope this helps!

Here`s a tip not mentioned, always try to take right hand peeks. *ALWAYS TRY THIS WHEN POSSIBLE* if you entry a room, always try to peek from your right hand side when entering, but if you`re forced into a left peek, if there are no hostiles trying to actively kill you, (rather milita with armor, helmets, or just heavily geared ppl and civillians with guns that are uneased (uneased as in ready to fire)) entry the room if they aren`t ready to shoot. If again, you`re forced to go left hand, hide from the left side of the door and have them agress you, since they can`t peek.
