Lancia Fulvia Sport Zagato No. 332 Corgi. Full renovation. Diecast model toy.

The Corgi Toys model Lancia Fulvia Zagato Sport had its premiere on the toy market in 1967. The manufacturer made a very interesting model in which the doors and front hood opened, the seats inside folded and the Lancia had active suspension. My copy was damaged but complete. Therefore, I additionally focused only on making the missing, damaged front lamp. I made both reflectors from polyurethane resin so that they would not be different from each other. I replaced the damaged chrome and made a reproduction of the original box in which the model was sold. Thank you for watching the video, I publish car repair videos on Tuesdays and Saturdays. One of the most iconic cars of my childhood, partially because there´s a photo of me holding it proudly on the day I got it. I think the side hinged hood and the strange yellow headlights were my main fascination.
When rebuilding my childhood collection roughly 10 years ago, I was willing to spend extra on this specific car to get one in good condition, but it turned out that no matter how much you spent, it would be impossible to get one with intact chromework - all models for sale, even the boxed ones in supposedly mint condition had the chrome peeled off on the bumpers and grille - much the same as for the Corgi 262 Lincoln Continental. The problem doesn´t affect chromed interiors or engines in nearly the same way, so I guess it´s an issue with the chrome/plastic/sunlight-combination.

I was able to find one recently in nm condition with full chrome bumpers...no peeling. It's not so easy. Got it for a fair price too!

I had this corgi car new from shop when I was young. As an adult, one of my workmates had the real thing. The weird side opening bonnet was quite a gimmick! The thing I remember most was the electric windows had failed, and to close them they needed to be manhandled by fingers on glass to move up or down!!
It was a rust bucket too, which eventually saw lancia failing completely in the UK 🇬🇧, and going off the market....love this channel BTW...

Sim, claro, esse lixamento é possível, 2500, 3000 é o melhor papel úmido, mas é preciso ter muito cuidado nas bordas para não esfregar a tinta.
