Brother, I must have watched 15 videos and I was not able to get it to work. You had the magic sauce. If you do not turn on that Gmail setting it will never work. The moment I flipped that on….boom. You saved us 175 dollar for the service call. Cheers.

Hi there I’m having an issue with one of my customers I have set them up with gmail but I get connect to server failure any ideas?
As of May 2022, Gmail took away the ability to turn on less secure app settings. What is the work around for that? Konica minolta c258.

Yes. You must enable 2-step verification and then create an app password for the machine to use in the Gmail account in the security settings.
